George and Amal Clooney were surrounded by excited fans as they left the Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris hotel on Monday night.
The 64-year-old actor and his 47-year-old wife had a romantic evening at a luxurious five-star hotel. This outing followed his recent explanation of why he stepped away from acting in Hollywood to focus on raising their twins.
The couple, married since 2014 and parents to eight-year-old Alexander and Ella, appeared happy as they left hand-in-hand.
When the couple left, their security team led them to their car while fans and photographers gathered, hoping for a photo or a look.
George looked sharp for the evening, wearing a navy suit with a black T-shirt and red-tinted glasses.
Amal showed off her legs in a sparkling black minidress, which she paired with a chic black leather jacket.

She wore her brown hair in loose waves and completed her look with high-heeled knee boots and opaque tights.
Amal carried her things in a black handbag, staying dry under the umbrella held by her security guard.
Even though George is a major movie star, he and his family traded the excitement of Los Angeles for a quiet life on a farm in France.
Now George revealed that his kids are having a ‘much better life’ growing up out of the spotlight.
He told Esquire magazine: ‘I was worried about raising our kids in LA, in the culture of Hollywood.
‘I felt like they were never going to get a fair shake at life.’
Actor Jay Kelly noted a significant cultural difference between France and the US, stating that the French generally aren’t impressed by celebrity status.
He added: ‘I don’t want them being compared to somebody else’s famous kids.’

I’ve noticed George isn’t on any social media – no Instagram, no Facebook, nothing. But he’s really concerned about when his kids eventually want to join those platforms. He worries a lot about what kind of experiences they’ll have and how it will affect them, and honestly, I get it – it’s a scary world out there for kids online.
He recently explained to Julia Roberts in an interview with 72 Magazine that the stakes are much higher now, and the repercussions last a lot longer.
‘I’m worried about my kids; we keep them off the internet as much as we can.
‘But, you know, some of their homework is done on a computer.’
George and Amal Clooney clearly enjoy a lavish lifestyle, with a combined net worth estimated at $550 million (about £409 million).
You know, it’s funny – this incredibly famous actor keeps saying he lives a totally ‘normal’ life, even though he and his partner have homes all over the globe! It just goes to show everyone defines ‘normal’ a little differently, doesn’t it? I think we can all agree that owning multiple properties worldwide isn’t exactly everyday for most of us, but it’s interesting how people try to maintain a sense of normalcy even with extraordinary lifestyles.
After his Broadway hit, Good Night, and Good Luck, the 64-year-old actor is starring in a new film called Jay Kelly, where he plays – fittingly – a famous movie actor.
You know, I was chatting with someone at the New York Film Festival recently, and they asked if he wished for a more ‘normal’ life, like the character he plays. He actually shared that he does have normalcy in his life – he’s found ways to balance things and enjoy everyday moments, which is wonderful to hear!
He emphasized that he leads a normal life, like driving his children to school each day. However, he added that everything is disrupted by ‘this’ – whatever situation he’s facing.
He acknowledged that he leads a fairly privileged life, and he attempts to protect his eight-year-old twins with Amal from knowing about it.
He said they didn’t visit the filming location often, maybe a couple of times. He prefers to keep his children away from that kind of environment for now.
‘I’m not quite sure what they would think about it. I don’t want them to think we’re too pampered.’
