George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s new movie sets new streaming record

As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast with decades of entertainment under my belt, I must say that the recent streaming record-breaking success of George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s new movie “Wolfs” on Apple TV+ has left me utterly amazed. The sheer number of viewers flocking to this action-packed flick is nothing short of astounding!

George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s new movie Wolfs has set a streaming record.

After its debut on Apple TV+ last week, the movie has become the most-watched film on the platform to date.

It’s been reported that the movie “Wolfs,” directed by Jon Watts who is known for helming the Spider-Man series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saw a nearly 30% increase in viewership from one week to the next.

Even though Apple doesn’t disclose exact numbers, Matt Dentler, head of Apple Original Films, stated that when George, Brad, and Jon presented the concept for “Wolfs”, it was an obvious decision – a captivating, enjoyable film starring two Academy Award winners who are widely recognized as icons when they team up.

“Now, audiences have chosen in droves to make Wolfs part of their weekend, making the movie a global blockbuster. We always consider Apple TV+ to be the home for the world’s most talented artists to create and deliver their best work, and it’s exciting to see audiences embrace that so overwhelmingly,” he added.

Over the summer, it was announced that Apple had secured Watts as the director for the sequel, well before the premiere of the first movie.

The film “Wolfs” showcases two performers in roles as problem solvers for the affluent class. Initially reluctant to collaborate, they are compelled to work side by side. Notably, a renowned actor who has won multiple Oscars appears in the movie, but viewers never get to see their face.

Originally, I had anticipated that the movie would grace more big screens prior to its streaming premiere. However, George Clooney shared that this wasn’t the case, which he admitted left him feeling a bit disheartened.

He mentioned that there are parts of it that we’re still working to understand, he explained via Deadline. Naturally, it’s disappointing, but that’s the reality.

While it’s true that many people will watch the movie in various cinemas, it would have been more pleasant if we could have had a wider release instead.
