George Clooney and Brad Pitt finally settle their ‘mullet war’ and reveal who wore the divisive ’80s hairstyle best more than 40 years on
Oh, my dear fellow fans of Hollywood royalty, let me regale you with my unbridled enthusiasm for this tantalizing tussle between two titans of Tinseltown! Brad Pitt and George Clooney, the dynamic duo who’ve graced our screens for decades, have finally taken their friendly rivalry to a whole new level – the mullet debate of ’80s glory days!
Brad Pitt thinks he wore the mullet ‘better’ than George Clooney.
In the ’80s, this well-known Hollywood figure, aged 60 at the time, sported a prominent hairstyle similar to George’s, both of them rocking the popular look of that decade.
In a shared interview with GQ, they talked about their playful hair competition, and Brad humorously suggested that the style might have been more flattering on him.
Brad said: ‘I would say one of the greatest that ever existed…’
George cut in: ‘Was my mullet or your mullet?’

Brad answered: ‘I’m going to say mine.’
However, George Clooney, who was once a prominent figure on ER, commented that although they might have said otherwise, their days on the show were actually a truly enjoyable and shared experience for both of them.
Brad and George made their first joint appearance in the 2001 movie Ocean’s Eleven. They then worked together again in Ocean’s Twelve (2004) and Ocean’s Thirteen (2007).
Additionally, Brad made an appearance in George’s first directorial work, “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind,” released in 2002, and he was part of the cast for the Coen Brothers’ production, “Burn After Reading,” which came out in 2008.
Additionally, they appeared in the 2012 stage production of “8” by Dustin Lance Black, which was broadcast live on YouTube and boasted an illustrious ensemble that included Kevin Bacon, Jamie Lee Curtis, among others.
In their newest project, titled Wolfs, the duo depicts two independent, strong-willed ‘solitary warriors’ – professional troubleshooters who face a dramatic shift in their lives when they are tasked with the same mission.
In 2022, it came to light that both Pitt and Clooney agreed to reduced salaries so that their movie could have a cinema premiere in addition to streaming on Apple TV Plus.

2022 saw an exhilarating moment as the situation turned into one of those rare intense bidding competitions, and things escalated significantly. In the end, Apple presented a remarkably high figure to both Brad and myself, as shared with Deadline.
As a seasoned filmmaker with years of experience in the industry, I can attest that negotiations with studios like Apple can be challenging but fruitful. In this particular instance, we expressed our desire to minimize our take as long as we could secure a theatrical release for our project. To my relief, they responded positively, acknowledging our request with enthusiasm. It’s moments like these that remind me of the collaborative spirit in Hollywood and the potential for creative partnerships that can lead to groundbreaking cinema.
Apple TV+ emerged victorious in a fierce competition with as many as ten studios such as Sony, Lionsgate, Annapurna, MGM, Universal, Warner Bros, itself, Netflix, and Amazon, to secure the rights for the film.
The movie “Wolves” was created by Jon Watts, a director who has gained popularity among fans for his work on the Spider-Man films featuring Tom Holland: “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (2017), “Spider-Man: Far From Home” (2019), and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (2021). Additionally, he has directed the supernatural horror film “Clown” (2014) and the road thriller “Cop Car” (2015).
