A woman alleges she had a seven-year secret relationship with Ricci Guarnaccio and is now accusing him of being dishonest and deceitful.
Steph Potts, a mom of two, was furious to discover that Geordie Shore’s Ricci Guarnaccio had publicly announced his new relationship on Instagram with a woman he’d reportedly only been dating for two weeks.
Steph, a sales assistant, believes Ricci was embarrassed to be with her because he never publicly acknowledged their relationship.
She told The Sun that they were together for more than seven years, but he always kept their relationship private. He explained that, due to his fame, he wanted to shield her from the pressures of public life.
Honestly, I thought what he said didn’t make much sense, but I pretended to agree. I was originally supposed to be on Geordie Shore during the Cyprus trip, but I couldn’t go because I got food poisoning.
Steph also claims Ricci lied to her about being single for two years.
She strongly disagreed, saying that wasn’t true. They did break up around a year ago, but it hadn’t been two years. Their relationship had been complicated since then – they’d been getting back together and breaking up repeatedly. He would leave, then return, and eventually say he couldn’t continue the cycle.
Steph said Ricci, who was like a father to her kids, recently offered her money, but she turned it down because she wasn’t in need of it.
Ricci quickly flew to Tenerife with someone new and then publicly announced he was dating Jenna Mumford, who is from Essex.
Steph explained that Ricci didn’t seem interested in publicly acknowledging their relationship, and she often felt pressured to meet his standards. She also clarified that she’s never had any plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures.
The mother of two admitted she once had Botox and lip fillers to try and match her partner’s preferences, but now she prefers a more natural look.
Steph feels like Ricci made fun of her by rushing into publicly announcing their relationship so soon.
When Steph saw her ex’s new relationship online, she decided it was time to speak up and defend herself.
She and Ricci have since blocked each other on social media.
Ricci and Jenna have been publicly showing their affection for each other on Instagram, including photos from their date night at Sheesh restaurant in Essex on Thursday.
A representative of Ricci Guarnaccio declined to comment when contacted by the Daily Mail.
Ricci first became well-known in 2012 on the reality show Geordie Shore, where he became a popular figure and found romance with Vicky Pattison.
He came back to the show in 2022 after Paramount+ revived it, but during his time away from television, he spent over £50,000 on cosmetic surgery. He now says he’s become addicted to having procedures.
Recently, beauty standards have moved towards a more natural appearance, leading some reality stars who previously had cosmetic procedures to reverse them or express lasting regret.
While taking a break from Geordie Shore to DJ in Australia, Ricci started exploring cosmetic procedures.
