Geordie Shore star Faith Mullen reveals she’s quit fame to get a ‘normal job’ after being brutally axed from the MTV show
I, as a dedicated follower of Faith Mullen’s journey, am thrilled to see her pursuing her passion for beauty after being let go from Geordie Shore. Her Instagram post about landing a job at Dior brings back memories of my own childhood, growing up in a single-parent family where the only rule was “what’s mine is yours, and what’s yours is mine, except my makeup bag, you can’t touch it.” I too was mesmerized by my mother’s beauty regimen and the magical transformation that came with applying her Dior makeup.
Faith Mullen, known for her role on Geordie Shore, has shared that she has left the limelight behind to focus on a new path in the beauty industry following her exit from MTV’s program.
A twenty-four-year-old reality TV personality had a brief stint on the risqué program in 2018; however, the producers decided against inviting her back for another season.
Faith recently announced on Instagram that she’s been offered her dream position at the Dior cosmetics counter, following her experience as a beauty advisor at Boots.
In her post’s caption, she shared: “Growing up with just one parent, we had few rules. One of them was ‘whatever is mine is yours, and whatever is yours is mine, with the exception of my makeup bag – off-limits to you.'”
I was deeply captivated by my mother’s allure as she meticulously applied her Dior makeup each day. Sitting nearby, I admired every move she made, absorbing the elegance and sophistication that radiated from her.
The most enjoyable experiences I had were when she handed over a product nearly finished, letting me have a turn.
For decades, my affection for beauty and makeup has been a constant in my life, and it all began with Dior. It’s an incredible feeling to now be part of this esteemed brand that ignited my passion as a young girl. What a full-circle moment! God certainly has a wonderful sense of timing.
A devoted Christian named Faith has expressed that although she considers pre-marital sex to be a sin, her religious beliefs won’t hinder her from participating in the wild parties depicted on Geordie Shore.
At that point, she shared with The Sun her perspective: “Being a young Christian woman doesn’t mean you have to be dull and inactive; you can enjoy partying just as much as anyone else.”
“I aimed to represent and engage the modern Christian youth, moving beyond the stereotype of stale and sleep-inducing religious services in churches.”
Even with her strong religious beliefs, Faith surprised audiences by being seen retching and throwing up on herself during a boisterous night out in Blackpool.
MTV executives decided to cancel Faith’s show after its first season. A source reportedly stated that Faith was not terminated from the program, but would now have a reduced presence in future episodes.
Last series, she left a significant mark on viewers with her sunny disposition, earning her much fan affection. However, producers are always looking for ways to add excitement to the show by introducing new cast members.
I’m a loyal fan who keeps up with the latest news about Geordie Shore. In April, I heard that two cast members announced their departures from the show following a heated argument between them.
During the production of the 24th series, Charlotte Crosby had a disagreement with Marnie Simpson, 32, which led to her deciding to exit the show over a dispute about using a high chair.
After their argument became heated, Marnie and her husband Casey Johnson stopped following each other on social media and have reportedly not spoken since then. They have also chosen not to participate in the show anymore.
A source shared with The Sun that Marnie was displeased with how the previous series concluded and the way she was portrayed.
“They declared: Her return brings sadness and anxiety for her, and they are both exhausted. Casey is in agreement. In pursuit of a new beginning, they no longer feel bound to the program.”
MTV proposed a new season due to the tremendous viewership of the previous one, filled with excitement, but they declined the offer.
Last year, Charlotte criticized her Geordie Shore colleagues in strong terms after she left the reality show due to a heated argument.
In response to the recent commotion, she took to her Instagram to post a detailed message, expressing her grievances against her friends for spreading rumors about her behind her back.
“Hello all, I can’t thank you enough for the heartwarming messages I’ve been receiving in the past day. Your kind words have truly made an impact on me.”
I haven’t had the opportunity to see the latest episodes of Geordie Shore yet, and I’m not planning to. To be honest, I found myself completely out of the loop regarding the conversations among my friends when they weren’t addressing me directly.
Last year, while filming was taking place, I had recently given birth, lost my dear grandmother, and was also supporting my mom through her cancer diagnosis.
“Although I understand that some of you may have lived through the same emotional turmoil our family experienced that year, I regret having to discuss this matter further as I want to clarify some points about myself.”
Charlotte acknowledged that she was still feeling pain from the dispute and was making efforts to heal and progress.
She admitted that she had expected to stay unfazed when the show went live, feigning strength and indifference. However, she now acknowledges that she has been wounded and finds it difficult to move past the pain.
Instead of getting caught up in arguments that may not matter in the long run, I choose to focus on the good things in life. I will appreciate the blessings I have and cherish those dear to me. With dignity and love, I will carry on. Sending you all my warmest regards.
