Okay, so Genshin Impact is getting a big update – Version 6.5! I’m super excited because it’s bringing a bunch of limited-time events, new characters to try out, and some rerun banners for characters I might have missed. It all kicks off on April 8, 2026, and runs until May 19, 2026. I’ve been checking out the event calendar to see exactly what’s coming and get prepared for the update!

Genshin Impact Version 6.5 Event Calendar: Phase 1

Phase 1 Character and Weapon Banner (April 8, 2026, to April 28, 2026)

Once the update is released, the first set of character and weapon banners will become available. This phase will feature a new 5-star character, Linnea, along with her special weapon, and a rerun banner for Chasca, including her signature weapon. Three 4-star characters will also have their rerun banners available.

Fairy Girl’s Album (April 8, 2026, to April 17, 2026)

The Fairy Girl’s Album is the first event for Genshin Impact’s Version 6.5 update. You can join by visiting our official social media pages, and completing the event will reward you with 30 Primogems.

Trail of Footsteps (April 8, 2026, to April 21, 2026)

Trail of Footsteps is a web event you can access through the in-game event section. By participating, you can earn up to 100 Primogems.

Surveying and Mapping Studies event (April 10, 2026, to April 20, 2026)

During this event, we’ll be working with Mika to complete a mapping and surveying task. Completing it will reward us with 420 Primogems.

Stygian Onslaught (April 15, 2026, to May 19, 2026)

Where Waves Meet the Reef (April 27, 2026, to May 14, 2026)

The biggest event in Version 6.5 is called “Where Waves Meet the Reef.” It will be held in Nord Krai and focuses on trading between different regional groups. Completing the event will reward players with free Jahoda, materials to upgrade weapons, Mora, Seriana pt furniture, and a variety of other useful in-game items.

Genshin Impact Version 6.5 Event Calendar: Phase 2

Phase 2 Character and Weapon Banner (April 29, 2026, to May 19, 2026)

Once the first part of Version 6.5 is finished, rerun banners for Nefer and Lauma will become available, featuring their special weapons. These banners will also include three 4-star characters.

Rapid Capture (May 6, 2026 to May 18, 2026)

This event lets you take photos of your Genshin Impact characters at different locations. You can earn up to 420 Primogems as rewards!

Ley Line Overflow (May 11, 2026 to May 18, 2026)

In this event, use Original Resin to get Double drops from Ley lines.
