Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Leaks: List of Upcoming banners, Events, Endgame updates and more

Story Highlights

Recent leaks have given us a look at what’s coming in the next update to Genshin Impact, including new characters available through banners, in-game events, improvements to the endgame, and other exciting content. This article will go over all the details of Version 6.4 based on those leaks.

Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Leaks: Endgame Updates

Spiral Abyss

The Spiral Abyss will reset with the Version 6.4 update on March 16, 2026. While details about the enemies are still unknown, information about the floor buffs and blessings has been released.

Here are the blessings and floor buff details:

  • Blessing: After every 4 Swirls, enemies will get hit by a Shockwave.
  • Floor 11 Buff: All Anemo and Cryo attack Damage will be increased by 75%.
  • Floor 12 1st Half Buff: On-field character will gain 75% Anemo Damage Bonus.
  • Floor 12 2nd Half Buff: Normal Cryo attack damage will be increased by 75%.

Imaginarium Theatre

The Imaginarium Theatre will be reset twice during the Version 6.4 Update: on March 1, 2026, and again on April 1, 2026. Currently, we only have details about the first reset on March 1st.

This details all the playable characters, guest stars, boss fights, and usable items in Imaginarium Theatre.

  • Allowed Elements: Hydro, Cryo, and Geo.
  • Opening characters: Mona, Xinque, Wriothesley, Rosaria, Navia, Kachina.
  • Special guests: Lauma, Sucrose, Klee, Yumemizuki Mizuki.
  • Bosses: Lv 90 Ironclad Molten Emperor Boss (Act 3), Lv 92 Blue Light Moon Gecko Boss (Act 6), Lv 95 Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant (Act 8), Lv 100 Primo Geovisap (Act 10).

Stygian Onslaught

Stygian Onslaught usually begins one week after a major game update. Based on past trends, we expect it to start around March 4, 2026. Here’s a look at the bosses featured in the Version 6.4 Stygian Onslaught:

  1. Mandragora Boss: It’s a local legend from Nod Krai, released in the Version 6.3 update. Particularly, this boss is weak against Pyro and Pyro swirl reactions. So, Pyro DPS like Mauvika and Arlecchino have an advantage against this boss.
  2. Knuckle Duckle Boss: It’s a world boss from Nod Krai. This boss is weak against Electro Charge and Lunar Charge reactions, so Lunar Charge DPS has an advantage.
  3. Secret Source Automation: It’s a world boss from Natlan. This boss is weak against rapid Cryo attacks. Cryo DPS like Skirk and Ayaka have an advantage.

Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Leaks: Character Banners

Okay, so there’s a ton of banner speculation going around right now. I’ve been keeping up with all the leaks, and I’m going to share what I think is coming up next, based on what leakers are saying and what I’ve seen from playing the game. It’s a mix of info and my own gut feeling!

Varka

Varka is confirmed to be a playable character releasing with the first phase of the Version 6.4 update.

Flins

Leaks suggest Flins will be featured on a banner again in Version 6.4. This makes sense because the upcoming 6.4 Stygian Onslaught event will introduce the Knuckle Duckle Boss, who is vulnerable to Lunar-Charge attacks – and Flins is a character who specializes in dealing Lunar-Charge damage.

Version 6.3 introduced Ineffa, a highly recommended support character essential for strong Flins teams. This makes getting Flins in Version 6.4 even more appealing.

Mauvika/Raiden Shogun

Here’s why Mauvika and Raiden Shogun might have rerun banners in Version 6.4 of Genshin Impact. HoYoverse typically releases a rerun banner for each Archon character between major updates (X.0 to X.7). We’ve already seen reruns for four Archons in the last few updates (Versions 6.0 to 6.3), leaving only Mauvika and Raiden Shogun as possibilities for Version 6.4.

Rumors suggest Raiden Shogun will have another chance to appear on a banner soon. This expectation is based on a pattern from previous updates: Raiden Shogun typically gets a banner first, followed by the other Archons. This happened in Version 5.6, where Raiden’s banner was followed by banners for all the other Archons. If HoYoverse continues this trend, we can likely anticipate Raiden Shogun’s banner appearing in Version 6.4.

Skirk/Escofier

Neither Escoffier nor Skirk has had a chance to appear on a rerun banner yet. While leaks suggest either one could be next, I believe Skirk will get hers before Escoffier. This is because the upcoming update to Spiral Abyss Floor 12 will significantly boost Normal Cryo attack damage – by 75% – making Skirk, a Cryo character, more valuable for players.

Escoffier’s abilities and ultimate attack inflict Cryo damage, while Skirk deals Cryo damage with their regular attacks. It’s well-known among Genshin Impact players that HoYoverse typically releases improvements alongside new character banners.

Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Leaks: Events

Genshin Impact’s Version 6.4 will feature three events: a large main event, and two smaller ones. While we don’t know the official names yet, we’ll refer to them as the Main Event, Event 1, and Event 2. Here’s a detailed look at all three events coming in Version 6.4.

Event 1

During this event, you’ll protect your fortress from waves of enemies. Instead of directly controlling characters, you’ll rely on automated defenses that use elemental reactions and attacks to defeat them. Completing the event will reward you with 420 Primogems.

Event 2

This event lets you take photos with your Genshin Impact characters at various locations. You can earn up to 420 Primogems by participating!

Main Event

The main event is happening in Mondstadt. It includes three smaller events: a combat challenge, a shooting game, and a juice-making activity. Players can earn over 900 Primogems by participating.
