Genshin Impact is launching Version 6.3 on January 14, 2026, and it will run until February 25, 2026. This update includes limited-time events, new characters, and the return of popular characters through rerun banners. Here’s a calendar outlining everything you can expect in the Version 6.3 update.

Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Phase 1 Full Event Calendar

Phase 1 Character and Weapon Banner (January 14, 2026 to February 4, 2026)

Once the update is released, the first phase will feature new character and weapon banners. The new 5-star character, Columbina, will have her own banner alongside her special weapon, and Ineffa will have a rerun banner with her signature weapon as well. Three 4-star characters will also be getting rerun banners.

Where the Moon Returns Web Event (January 14, 2026 to January 28, 2026)

The “Where the Moon Returns” event will be the first event launching with the Version 6.3 Update. Players can earn 20 Primogems by completing it.

Shutterflash Memory Hunt Event (January 16, 2026 to January 26, 2026)

So, there’s this new event in Genshin Impact where you basically have to travel around Teyvat and take pictures of your characters in specific spots. It’s pretty chill, honestly. And the rewards are awesome – you get 420 Primogems, a bunch of Mora, and materials to level up your characters’ talents. Definitely worth doing!

Fortune’s Coming Cumulative Check-in Event (January 16, 2026, to February 3, 2026)

To claim all the daily login rewards in Genshin Impact, you need to play for 7 days. The rewards include 10 Intertwined Fates, 1 Dust of Enlightenment, 80,000 Mora, and 8 Hero’s Wit.

Stygian Onslaught (January 21, 2026 to February 25, 2026)

Okay, so the super challenging Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact is coming back on January 21st, 2026, and will be up until February 25th, 2026. They’re giving us 450 Primogems for completing it, plus a bunch of other useful materials, which is awesome!

Serene Moonlit Nights (January 30, 2026, toFebruary 25, 2026)

During this event, you’ll receive 400 Primogems each day for 4 days through In-game Mail. That’s a total of 1600 Primogems, plus 1 Elixir, 2 Fragile Resin, and a Crown of Insight.

Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Phase 2 Full Event Calendar

A Lanternlit Ode to the Silver Moon Event (January 30, 2026, to February 23, 2026)

Okay, so the big news in Version 6.3 is the “Lanternlit Ode to the Silver Moon Event” – basically, the Lantern Rite is back! And it’s awesome because we’re getting a ton of goodies. I’m talking 1060 Primogems, a free 4-star character to choose, materials to level up our weapons, a whole bunch of Mora, some super cool Seriana pt furniture for decorating, and just tons of other useful stuff to help us out in the game.

Phase 2 Character and Weapon Banner (February 4, 2026 to February 25, 2026)

Once the first part of version 6.3 is finished, a new set of banners will be released featuring Zibai and Neuvillette. Zibai will have a banner with her special weapon, and Neuvillette will have her fourth rerun banner, also featuring her signature weapon. Additionally, Illuga will be available, along with two other 4-star characters with increased draw rates.

Moonlit Patrol Exercise Event (February 9, 2026, to February 23, 2026)

This is a team-based challenge where you’ll battle enemies to earn rewards. You can get 420 Primogems, materials to upgrade your weapons, Mora (the in-game currency), and other useful items.

Ley Line Overflow (February 16, 2026, to February 23, 2026)

During this event, you can use Original Resin to create Blossoms of Wealth and Blossoms of Revelation. Everyone will get twice the usual rewards!
