Genshin Impact 5.8 Special Program stream summary

To reiterate, this is the concluding phase prior to initiating the 6.x sequence of updates. The 5.8 version maintains our yearly custom by offering a unique summer event and a seasonal, summer-inspired environment that’s only available for a limited time.

This year, the event is titled “Sunspray Summer Resort,” and it will feature popular characters from Natlan, including Bennett and Venti. Visitors will have the opportunity to utilize the powers of the resort’s mascot, Asha, for an exciting exploration experience.

This year, the events will take place at Easybreeze Holiday Resort, which is now permanently marked on the map and will continue to exist along the western coast of Natlan following the conclusion of the summer festivities.

New character – Ineffa

In Version 5.8, we get to play as the game’s inaugural character hailing from Nod Krai – Ineffa! This robot, a part of daily life in her world Teyvat, is constructed with pieces from various locations. She experiences memory loss and crosses paths with the Traveler thanks to the Flower-Feather Clan.

In the game, Ineffa is a five-star character who specializes in Electro and wields a Polearm. One of her unique abilities is triggering a fresh Elemental Interaction called Lunar-Charged.

The version you see here is an altered form of Electro-Charged, which is the interaction between Electro and Hydro elements. Just by being present at the gathering, Ineffa can activate this effect. Lunar-Charged generates a thunderstorm that occasionally damages enemies close by who are affected by both Hydro and Electro. This interaction also has a chance to critically strike, and its damage is determined by the combined stats of all characters participating in the reaction.

Regarding her equipment setup, it primarily focuses on Ineffa’s robotic ally, Birgitta. Notably, Electro can be activated off-field, which underscores the significance of having a Lunar-Charged setup.

Don’t worry at all, as the livestream has made it clear that Lunar-Charged won’t solely belong to Ineffa. Additional characters will also have the ability to trigger this effect.
