Genshin Impact Version 5.4 Phase 1 Character and Weapon Banners: Should you go for Yumemizuki Mizuki or Sigewinne
In the world of Genshin Impact, the Version 5.4 Phase 1 banners will commence on February 12th, 2025, and continue until March 4th, 2025. During this period, these banners will showcase a fresh character debut along with a rerun of a 5-Star character in a joint event.
Mizuki serves as an Anemo field driver, excelling in causing swirling reactions and area-of-effect (AOE) damage. Her abilities primarily revolve around her ‘Dream Drifter’ state, which she achieves through her skill. While in this state, Mizuki autonomously discharges Anemo attacks and enhances the Swirl damage output of her team.

Mizuki has a distinct playstyle that makes her stand out, as she’s not able to carry out regular attacks. Instead, she heavily relies on auxiliary field supports that don’t necessitate normal attacks to activate their skills. Among the rare Swirl drivers, Mizuki is particularly dedicated to on-field action. Her unique trait lies in offering an AFK-compatible gameplay experience. Mizuki excels in situations where multiple targets are involved, consistently setting off Swirls and boosting elemental interactions.
Despite Swirl’s lower efficiency in one-on-one situations, Mizuki continues to be a reliable top-tier character, providing robust area-of-effect performance and an easy-to-handle playstyle that suits reaction-oriented teams. Although she might appear somewhat repetitive when compared to Sucrose, her overall value as a five-star unit remains substantial.
As a dedicated fan, I’d like to share some insights about Sigewinne, a Hydro healer character in the game world. Her unique skill set primarily revolves around healing, subtle crowd control, and amplifying the power of her Elemental Skill damage. When I unleash her signature move, Rebound Hydrotherapy, it propels a bouncing bubble that restores health to my teammates (excluding myself) while inflicting Hydro damage proportional to my Max HP.
As a gamer, I found that amplifying my skill makes the bubble expand, which not only slightly enhances its damaging and healing capabilities but also momentarily incapacitates weaker foes. My Elemental Burst, Super Saturated Syringing, unleashes an area-of-effect Hydro attack proportional to my maximum health, and it sucks up nearby Sourcewater Droplets to recharge my energy.

As a gamer, I’d put it like this: I’ve got some awesome passive abilities that really beef up my healing capabilities and team harmony. One of them ramps up Skill damage for allies off the battlefield, another amplifies healing based on my Bonds of Life, and a third one even provides emergency healing when I dive underwater. However, my Hydro application is not so strong, meaning I might not be the best fit for reaction-based teams unless I’ve got another Hydro character tagging along.

Why you should go for Yumemizuki Mizuki or Sigewinne in Genshin Impact Version 5.4
If you prefer action-oriented area-of-effect gameplay that requires minimal attention, Mizuki could be an excellent pick for you. As a field Anemo driver, she shines particularly well in situations involving multiple targets, applying Swirl effects and boosting her team’s damage output. However, compared to Sucrose, her single-target performance is less impressive, and she may have more limitations when it comes to building your team composition.
Mizuki performs optimally in teams composed of Taser, Aggravate, and Hyperbloom, but may find it challenging in situations requiring high single-target damage output. She’s an ideal choice for new Standard 5-star players or those seeking a unique Area of Effect (AoE) character. Conversely, Sigewinne is a Hydro healer who offers team-wide durability, minor crowd control, and skill enhancements.
She’s an excellent choice for teams that emphasize Elemental Abilities, but her Hydro abilities are somewhat lacking, which reduces her effectiveness in fast-paced gameplay unless combined with another Hydro character. Sigewinne performs optimally in Mono Hydro and teams centered around Furina, providing consistent healing and complementing Bond of Life mechanics. However, she faces stiff competition from Kokomi, who offers superior healing, stronger Hydro application, and more team versatility.
In terms of a long-term strategy, character Sigewinne appears to be more advantageous given her robust healing abilities and effective synergy with Furina. This makes her a wise choice for most players seeking stability. On the other hand, if you’re drawn towards swift, whirlwind teams and enjoy action-packed area of effect combat, character Mizuki could be an excellent selection. Notably, Mizuki can ultimately be acquired at no cost through the Standard 5-star Selector. Ultimately, the decision between these two characters hinges on your preferred playstyle and whether you value healing or reaction-based combat more highly.
