As a gamer, if I don’t win the 50/50, I’ll get either Keqing (Electro) or Qiqi (Cryo). Moreover, only characters from Liyue with a 4-star rarity like Yaoyao, Yun Jin, Yanfei, Xinyan, Chongyun, Ningguang, Xingqiu, Beidou, and Xiangling can be found in the banners.
Genshin Impact Version 5.3 Chronicled Banner: Who Should You Pull
1. Baizhu
In the current game scenario, Baizhu is a top choice character to acquire because of his adaptability as both a Dendro defender and healer. His knack for consistently applying Dendro traits makes him an essential member in teams that leverage Dendro reactions such as Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Quicken. Although his shield may not be as robust as Zhongli’s, it provides reasonable protection and can prove beneficial in specific situations. Moreover, his healing abilities ensure team resilience during challenging content. Given the ongoing dominance of Dendro in the meta, Baizhu offers exceptional worth for any roster.
2. Tartaglia (Childe)
Tartaglia, though classified as a ‘release character’, continues to be significant in gameplay primarily as a ‘Hydro Damage Per Second (DPS)’. His area-of-effect (AoE) damage is impressive, and his capability to apply Hydro makes him indispensable for teams utilizing ‘Vaporize’ or ‘Bloom’. His most advantageous combinations are user-friendly for free-to-play players, making it accessible for many gamers to construct his team. Tartaglia’s compatibility with potent support units enhances the performance of his teams in advanced content, upholding his standing as a dependable and versatile damage dealer.
3. Xiao
Xiao is a high-damage Anemo DPS character who inflicts substantial harm through his plunging attacks at the expense of his health. Although he deals a lot of damage, he has been outperformed by more recent Anemo DPS options and requires frequent healing or shielding due to his HP loss. Teams featuring Xiao perform best when supported by characters like Zhongli or healers to offset his self-inflicted damage. Despite being viable, Xiao finds it challenging to compete with the versatility and utility of other DPS characters in the current game meta.
4. Ganyu
In simpler terms, Ganyu is a character who specializes in dealing damage with her charged attacks, both single-target and area-of-effect (AoE). However, the Cryo element, which she uses, isn’t as powerful in the current meta, particularly because Freeze teams are less effective compared to those based on Dendro reactions. Combinations that involve Ganyu, once considered top-tier, are now less impressive in challenging content. While Ganyu can still perform well in certain situations, she lacks the overall effectiveness and versatility of other characters.
5. Shenhe
As a gamer, I’d say I find myself in a bit of a pickle with Shenhe. She’s this stunningly designed Cryo support character who amps up the power of Cryo DPS damage, but
With Cryo abilities seeming to take a backseat these days, Shenhe’s role is pretty much confined to enhancing teams that focus on Cryo damage. Unfortunately, those teams aren’t as dominant anymore. Sure, she’s got some impressive buffs up her sleeve, but they only shine in specific situations.
The thing is, Shenhe’s relevance hinges entirely on having a top-notch Cryo DPS like Ayaka or Ganyu at my side. Otherwise, she’s not exactly the first choice for most of us gamers out there. So, I guess I’ll be waiting a bit longer to add her to my squad.
