Her gameplay revolves around finding a balance between attacking and supporting her team, making her a flexible option for players seeking a combination of damage output and healing capabilities in a single character.

In this overview, we’ll delve deeply into the character known as Sigewinne, discuss her equipment, determine optimal artifacts for her, explore her ideal build, and provide additional insights regarding Genshin Impact.

Among all the friends of the Melusine known to my parents, Sigewinne stands out as exceptionally unique. They recall that she was once a visitor in our home long ago, even taking my hand to help me walk when I was just learning. Since then, many years have passed, and I’ve grown into an adult; Sigewinne, however, remains unchanged…

Genshin Impact Sigewinne Guide: Kit Explained

Sigewinne’s playstyle revolves around the mechanism known as the “Bond of Life.” When she employs her skill, it produces “Sourcewater Droplets” that grant her a temporary boost in maximum health through the “Bond of Life” effect.

Normal Attack: Targeted TreatmentHer normal attacks are fairly simple, allowing her to shoot up to three consecutive arrows. Her charged shot is where things start to get more interesting. When fully charged, she continuously fires slow-moving Hydro bubbles at enemies, making her a unique ranged Hydro applicator.

This means she can keep applying Hydro status from a distance, setting up elemental reactions effectively. If you hold her charged shot long enough, the final arrow will deal a stronger burst of Hydro damage, making it useful for precision attacks.

Elemental Skill: Rebound HydrotherapyHer Elemental Skill is the core of her kit. She shoots out a bouncing bubble that deals Hydro damage based on her max HP and heals the team, except for herself, every time it bounces. The more it bounces, the more healing it provides. However, after five bounces, the bubble disappears, and she finally heals herself. This means Sigewinne can keep the party alive while remaining somewhat vulnerable until the effect ends.

If you hold her skill instead of tapping it, she creates a larger bubble that does more damage and heals more effectively. This is especially useful for dealing with weaker enemies, as they get trapped inside the big bubble, making them easy targets.

Additionally, when she uses her skill, she generates Sourcewater Droplets that provide her with a Bond of Life, a special effect that temporarily increases her max HP. When this bond disappears, she regenerates energy, which helps her use her Elemental Burst more often.

Elemental Burst: Super Saturated SyringingHer Elemental Burst, Super Saturated Syringing, is a simple but powerful ability. She unleashes a large Hydro AoE attack that scales with her max HP. Additionally, it absorbs nearby Sourcewater Droplets, further fueling her Bond of Life mechanic.

This burst makes her a strong Hydro applicator while providing an extra source of energy generation. One of her key traits is her Arkhe: Ousia alignment, which causes her bubbles to occasionally summon Surging Blades that deal additional Hydro damage. This makes her even better at maintaining Hydro application over time.

Sigewinne’s Passives

Requires Appropriate RestHer first passive, Requires Appropriate Rest, activates after she uses her Elemental Skill. For 18 seconds, she gains a Hydro DMG Bonus and receives 10 stacks of Convalescence. These stacks interact with her team’s off-field Elemental Skills, boosting their damage whenever they hit an enemy. The bonus scales with Sigewinne’s max HP, meaning the more HP she has, the stronger the boost.

If she has over 30,000 HP, each stack adds extra damage, with a cap of 2,800 bonus damage per hit. This passive encourages her to be paired with characters who deal Elemental Skill damage while off-field, making her an ideal partner for sub-DPS units who frequently trigger reactions.

Detailed Diagnosis, Thorough TreatmentHer second passive, Detailed Diagnosis, Thorough Treatment, improves her healing output based on the Bond of Life mechanic. The more Bond of Life HP stored across the party, the stronger her healing becomes.

For every 1,000 HP stored in Bonds of Life, her healing increases by 3%, up to a maximum of 30%. This means that as she gathers and clears Bonds of Life, her healing potential scales up, making her especially useful in prolonged fights where healing needs to be at its peak.

Emergency DoseHer final passive, Emergency Dose, activates exclusively while exploring underwater. If the active character’s HP falls below 50%, Sigewinne automatically heals them over 2.5 seconds, restoring 50% of their max HP. However, the trade-off is that the character’s Elemental and Physical Resistance will be reduced for 10 seconds.

Since underwater combat in Fontaine relies on dodging rather than traditional damage mitigation, this passive is a strong survival tool, ensuring that players can stay in action longer without needing to switch to a healer. However, the resistance drop means players will need to be more careful after the heal is triggered.

Genshin Impact Sigewinne Build Guide: Constellations

In this section, we will break down the constellations for Sigewinne in Genshin Impact.

C1This constellation improves her Elemental Skill significantly by allowing her Bolstering Bubblebalm to bounce 3 extra times. This means more healing for the team, more Hydro application, and a longer duration of crowd control for weaker enemies. Additionally, the first 3 bounces won’t shrink the big Bubblebalms, letting them deal their highest damage for longer.

On top of that, her passive Requires Appropriate Rest gets a buff—each bubble bounce now generates Convalescence stacks, further increasing teamwide Elemental Skill damage. The bonus scaling is also increased, allowing up to 3,500 extra damage per Elemental Skill hit instead of the original 2,800.

C2Sigewinne gains a Bubbly Shield worth 30% of her Max HP, which is especially effective against Hydro damage, absorbing it with 250% efficiency. Since her kit naturally scales with HP, this shield will be quite strong, improving her survivability.

Additionally, whenever her Skill or Burst hits an enemy, it reduces their Hydro Resistance by 35% for 8 seconds, making it easier for Hydro DPS units.

C3Elemental skill increased by 3 levels.
C4This extends the duration of her Elemental Burst by 3 seconds, allowing it to apply Hydro for longer and deal more damage overall.
C5Elemental burst increased by 3 levels.
C6This is Sigewinne’s biggest offensive upgrade. Whenever she heals, her Super Saturated Syringing (Burst) gains CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG based on her Max HP. Every 1,000 HP increases CRIT Rate by 0.4% and CRIT DMG by 2.2%, up to a maximum of 20% CRIT Rate and 110% CRIT DMG.

This turns her Burst into a high-damage nuke, making her not just a healer but also a secondary DPS. Since her healing is frequent, she will almost always have this buff active when using her Burst.

Regarding constellations for Sigewinne, they’re generally average at their best. If your primary focus is a support healer, I recommend upgrading to Constellation level 1 and 2 as these are the most beneficial stops. For increased damage output, Constellation level 6 offers a significant boost but is considered a luxury due to its optional nature. The ranking from best to least best for Sigewinne’s constellations goes as follows: C1 > C2 > C6 > C4 > C5 > C3.

Genshin Impact Sigewinne Build Guide: Artifacts to use

Song of Days Past (BiS)2-Pieces:
Healing Bonus +15%.

4-Pieces:
When the equipping character heals a party member, the Yearning effect will be created for 6s, which records the total amount of healing provided (including overflow healing). When the duration expires, the Yearning effect will be transformed into the Waves of Days Past effect:

When your active party member hits an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, the DMG dealt will be increased by 8% of the total healing amount recorded by the Yearning effect.

The Waves of Days Past effect is removed after it has taken effect 5 times or after 10s. A single instance of the Yearning effect can record up to 15,000 healing, and only a single instance can exist at once, but it can record the healing from multiple equipping characters. Equipping characters on standby can still trigger this effect.

Ocean-Hued Clam2-Pieces:
Healing Bonus +15%

4-Pieces:
When the character with this artifact set heals a party member, 1 Foam will appear. It accumulates healed HP for 3 seconds, then explodes and deals 90% of the HP healed as DMG to nearby enemies. Max accumulated healing is 30,000 HP, including over-heal. There can only be 1 Foam active, but it stays even if you swap it out. Foam CD is 3.5s.

For Sigewinne, both the ‘Song of Days Past’ and the ‘Ocean-Hued Clam’ artifact sets work exceptionally well. They complement her healing-centric abilities while enabling her to contribute to team damage as well. The ‘Song of Days Past’ enhances Sigewinne’s healing capabilities and keeps track of the healing provided over a 6-second period. Once the effect ends, the next active character’s attack deals increased damage proportional to approximately 8% of the total healing recorded. On the other hand, ‘Ocean-Hued Clam’ is another effective choice for Sigewinne.

As for her Main Stats and Sub-Stats:

  • Timepiece: HP
  • Goblet: HP
  • Circlet: HP
  • Sub-stat: HP, EM, ER

Best Team Comps for Sigewinne in Genshin Impact

Sigewinne serves as a Hydra Healing Specialist, primarily excelling at amplifying the damage of her Elemental Skill. This makes her an excellent support character for those who inflict damage from afar, particularly beneficial for team compositions. Her most harmonious partnership is with Furina, a versatile healer and robust Hydro Damage Dealer who excels in the team setting. Sigewinne enhances Furina by offering additional healing, Hydro Resonance (boosting Max HP), and skill damage enhancements.

Sigewinne works well as a healer in teams where Furina is the primary carry, but isn’t essential all the time since Furina can team up with other healers effectively. Besides Furina, Sigewinne also harmonizes with other off-field skill damage dealers like Fischl, Yae Miko, and Chiori. If a team includes one of these characters and requires a healer, Sigewinne could be a strong choice as she boosts their main source of damage (Elemental Skill damage).

Despite her Hydro application being somewhat sluggish, she might benefit from teaming up with another Hydro character in reaction-based groups. She is effective in Double Hydro + Geo teams alongside Navia, as Furina and herself offer Hydro support for the Geo DPS characters like Navia. In Electro-Charged (Taser) teams, Sigewinne works well with Electro units such as Fischl, Furina, and Yae Miko. These teams focus on swiftly switching between characters to activate Electro-Charged reactions.

Sigewinne’s Elemental Skills enhance several characters simultaneously, keeping the group in good health. However, her gradual application of Hydro element can be improved when paired with robust Electro units to uphold a consistent reaction sequence. Sigewinne is also suitable for Dendro teams, such as Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon. In Bloom teams (which combine Hydro and Dendro), she offers healing but necessitates a quicker Hydro applicator to ensure Bloom cores are consistently produced.

In a similar fashion, within Hyperbloom squads (comprising Hydro, Dendro, and Electro), she performs the role of a restorer or nurturer. On the other hand, Electro members such as Raiden, Yae Miko, Fischl activate Hyperbloom reaction centers. Yet, her relatively slow Hydro field creation often necessitates having another Hydro character in the team.

Final Thoughts

Sigewinne is a Hydro healer who boasts a distinct, damage-enhancing Elemental Skill, but her overall abilities seem less impactful than those of other Hydro support characters. The application of water by Sigewinne is relatively slow, which makes her unreliable for teams that rely on reactions, unless she is teamed up with another Hydro character. However, she works well with Furina and certain off-field damage dealers who capitalize on skill damage. Unfortunately, her buffs are quite specialized, making her less of a priority for recruitment.

In the majority of team configurations, Kokomi tends to surpass others in her role as a healer because she provides stronger healing, superior Hydro application, and the Thrilling Tales ATK buff. Unless you’re building a Mono Hydro team or a setup centered around Furina, there are generally more versatile and efficient healers to choose from, making Sigewinne a less desirable pull in most cases.
