Genshin Impact reveals McDonald’s collaboration, exclusive items
As someone who’s been deeply immersed in the world of Genshin Impact since its inception, I can confidently say that this collaboration with McDonald’s is a game-changer! Growing up, I never thought I’d see the day when my favorite fast-food joint would team up with my favorite game. It’s like a dream come true for me and countless other fans.
Here’s everything about the Genshin Impact x McDonald’s collab!
In a recent announcement, Genshin Impact unveiled their partnership with popular fast-food chain McDonald’s. During this special Genshin Impact and McDonald’s collaboration, players can acquire unique in-game bonuses by buying limited-edition meals on offer.

Starting from September 17, 2024, the collaboration between Genshin Impact and McDonald’s will roll out at selected restaurants across the United States.
Genshin Impact x McDonald’s Exclusive Wind Glider
Previously, the “Wings of Delicacies” were exclusive to Mainland China and South Korea due to partnerships with KFC and MEGA MGC Coffee. However, starting now, players in the U.S. have the chance to enjoy these wings, along with a personalized Namecard, as part of a special Deluxe Combo Meal.
Another special dish you can enjoy is an Apple Pie, earning you an exclusive Recipe within the game, along with some Primogems and additional rewards.
Teyvat Takeover
The collaboration was announced on official McDonald’s accounts. These accounts also have a Genshin Impact-themed overhaul.
On the platform once known as Twitter, the account has been renamed to “mcdonalds teyvat” and its bio now reads: “Let me treat you to some more of those apple pies, 9.17.” Notably, their header and profile pictures have been updated to align with Genshin Impact’s theme.
Genshin Impact collaborations
In the past, Genshin Impact, along with its developer HoYoverse, have been involved in multiple partnerships. For instance, there was a significant collaboration with KFC in mainland China, as well as one with MEGA MGC Coffee in South Korea. These collaborations offered both real-world and in-game perks, including unique merchandise, exclusive meals, and special products.
In addition to partnerships involving food, we also have collaborations with tech brands like OnePlus, Xiaomi, and POCO, as well as luxury car brand Cadillac. Furthermore, there is an ongoing collaboration with the S.E.A. Aquarium in Singapore, which offers an immersive marine exploration experience featuring characters such as Sigewinne and Melusines. During this collaboration, fans have the opportunity to witness cosplayers, collect a commemorative ticket, pin, and stamp passport.
