Previously, we’ve seen several teasers and trailers, but this one specifically focuses on the upcoming region, Nod Krai. In the teaser, they’ve hinted at potential new playable characters and given us a sneak peek of what’s to come in terms of story. So, let’s dive into who might be joining our team from Genshin Impact’s Version 6.0 Nod Krai!

Introducing Nod Krai, the new location coming with the 6.0 update

The region known as Nod-Krai, situated in the south of Snezhnaya, is an untamed and risky area that I can’t wait to delve into! It has a reputation as a melting pot where people from across Teyvat congregate, with some claiming it offers opportunities for wealth beyond belief, like a mythical paradise – though this might just be wishful thinking.

In this rugged terrain, there’s scarcely any safety, making it potentially risky if you’re heavily laden with valuable items, as you could attract unwanted attention. There are captivating locations such as Nasha Town, an eccentric craft store, and the enigmatic group known as the Frostmoon Scions, who revere a deity associated with the moon.

As a follower of the lore, I can’t help but share my excitement as I piece together the latest clues. The Fatui, under the guidance of Il Dottore, have established their presence there, and whispers hint at the Harbingers potentially being part of the mix. This certainly explains why the Wanderer appears in the trailer! Moreover, there’s been increased Abyss activity, and a new breed of formidable foes known as the Wild Hunt has surfaced. Though it seems treacherous, the allure of danger, mystery, and adventure is undeniable.

In order from left to right:

  • Aino
  • Jahoda
  • Nefer
  • Lauma

These four newcomers have yet to make an appearance, but their captivating character designs certainly warrant our attention!

  • Alice
  • Sandrone
  • Columbina
  • Nicole Reeyn

We’ve been waiting for these characters, and now we finally get to meet them. Alice and Nicole are from the Hexenzirkel, while Sandrone and Columbina are members of the Fatui Harbingers.

  • Flins
  • Varka
  • Durin

At last, our upcoming content will feature some playable male characters! However, there’s a newcomer named Flins who has yet to make an appearance or be mentioned in previous versions. Conversely, the other two characters have significant connections to the game’s lore.

Varka serves as the Chief of the Favonius Knights, a group stationed in Mondstadt, who’s been absent for more than six months along with many other knights on an exploration. Meanwhile, Durin is another character we’ve come to know during special events. He lived in Dragonspine and was an unsuccessful Rhinedottir experiment.
