- Genshin Impact 6.0 introduces the To Temper Thyself and Journey Far event, letting players earn free 5-Star constellations from a pool of 24 characters.
- The event runs in 12-week rotations, giving Travelers up to four free 5-Star constellations every year.

The update version 6.0 for Genshin Impact, known as “Luna I”, introduces a thrilling permanent event titled “To Test Thyself and Venture Forth“. This event offers players an opportunity to acquire 5-Star constellations for free, while also introducing a novel ascension mechanism that enables characters to surpass their current level of 90.
How to get a free 5-Star Constellation of your Choice in Genshin Impact
While participating in the event, I’ll have the opportunity to tackle specified training objectives. Completing these goals will reward me with a coveted 5-Star Stella Fortuna of my preference. The pool features an impressive selection of 24 event-exclusive 5-Star characters, offering plenty of variety as I shape my gaming squad.
The following characters have a 5-star rating: Jean, Diluc, Klee, Mona, Xiao, Qiqi, Keqing, Tartaglia (Barbatos), Wanderer (Albedo), Ganyu, Ayaka, Cyno (Yae Miko), Eula, Yoimiya, Kokomi, Itto, Ayato, Shenhe, Baizhu, Tighnari, Dehya, and Nilou.
Notes:
* Barbatos is better known as Tartaglia in the English version of the game (Genshin Impact).
* In the original text, there are no commas between the character names, but I added them for clarity and readability.
* The last two characters have different spellings (Dehya vs Dhya) in some sources, but I used the spelling from Genshin Impact’s official website.
* I replaced “character roster” with “characters” to make it easier to read.
Hello Fellow Adventurer!
Exciting news awaits us as we embark on our journey post-Version “Luna I”! You now have a chance to acquire the highly acclaimed Stella Fortuna, free of charge. This five-star character will not only join your party but also help boost your character’s Ascension Level in the world of Teyvat – Genshin Impact!
But wait, there’s more! The Stella Fortuna we’re talking about is “Masterless,” meaning she doesn’t belong to any specific Archon. With her versatile abilities, she could become an indispensable ally on your quests.
So, let’s call it – “To Temper Thyself and Journey Far” with the aid of a Masterless Stella Fortuna, my friend! Let’s embark on this adventure together! #GenshinImpact #GenshinLunaI

To earn the reward, players need to accomplish a total of 8 Weekly Training Targets. Each day’s training objectives count towards this total – achieving two daily tasks equals one Daily Training Target, and reaching five Daily Training Targets secures one Weekly Target. Once all eight Weekly Targets are met, you can redeem a Stella Fortuna for a character you currently own.
The event will occur at regular intervals, with each round lasting approximately 12 weeks before it renews. Players have the opportunity to gather up to four 5-Star Stella Fortuna per year, but keep in mind that each constellation for a specific character can only be claimed once during each cycle.
Masterless Stella Fortuna: Beyond Constellation 6
For those gamers who’ve upgraded their 5-Star character to level 6 constellation, an extra Stella Fortuna is no longer redundant. Instead, it transforms into something new – a “Stella Fortuna without a Master,” or simply put, an additional Stella Fortuna that doesn’t bind to a specific character.

With a Masterless Stella Fortuna consumed, characters who have achieved Level 90 can surpass their current limit and advance all the way to Level 100. This progression offers enhanced stat boosts and fresh opportunities for fine-tuning advanced game strategies.
A Permanent Rotating Event
Unlike most short-term incentives, “To Temper Thyself and Journey Far” is a continuous rotating event that resets every week on Monday. This enables players to progressively amass more constellations in their roster over the course of the entire year.
In Version 6.0, the introduction of “Masterless Stella Fortuna” and the opportunity for characters to reach Level 100 signify a significant step in long-term character development. Whether you’re aiming to enhance your preferred main DPS or take a fully built team to new pinnacles, this event provides both additional power at no cost and exciting objectives to chase after.
