General Hospital star Steve Burton’s ex-wife accuses him of ‘harassing’ her… JUST weeks after he remarried

Steve Burton is facing accusations of harassment from his ex-wife, Sheree Gustin.

The ex-spouse of the actor from General Hospital, who is 48 years old, asserted that he has been inundating her with too many messages regarding the custody arrangement for their young daughter, Brooklyn.

Following Burton’s statement about finding difficulties in upholding his visitation rights with Brooklyn due to a supposed obstruction from Gustin, despite the joint custody arrangement, Gustin’s assertion surfaced subsequently.

Over the last couple of months, according to Sheree’s statement in court records (obtained by In Touch), Steve has begun messaging me frequently and alleges parental alienation whenever he can’t reach Brooklyn. These messages come nearly every day and they have become bothersome or harassing.

Steve firmly believes that Sheree’s accusations are completely untrue. He has always acted, and will continue to act, in the best interests of their daughter, Brooklyn, by ensuring regular contact with both parents is maintained.

She went on to say, ‘On May 12, 2025, the Court listened attentively to the evidence and allowed Steve extra jail time with Brooklyn, which Sheree had refused to give him.’

Previously, Steve made a report suggesting that Gustin was obstructing his view of Brooklyn.

Additionally, he claimed that Gustin showed repeated disregard towards Michelle Lundstrom, whom he recently married.

Steve asserted in his court papers that it appears as though Sheree has overlooked the circumstances that led our family to this point. It was actually Sheree who engaged in an extramarital relationship, gave birth to a child fathered by another man, and swiftly invited him into her home following our divorce without previously informing me of her intentions.

He mentioned that at the start of his relationship with Michelle, Sheree started avoiding calling Michelle by her name and instead referred to her as “the girl.” This was an attempt to minimize Michelle’s significance in his life. In a text conversation, Sheree said something along the lines of, “Michelle isn’t your family or our kids’ family, haha. She is just your girlfriend.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share my perspective on a situation: Sheree communicated to me that she preferred Brooklyn not to spend time with me when Michelle or her daughters were around. During the times when Michelle and her family visited California, Sheree would create obstacles for me to exercise my custodial rights with Brooklyn. Every time I made a request, it was met with opposition. The reasons for denying my requests varied – they claimed that the suggested time didn’t work or they were busy, despite me giving ample advance notice.

Steve filed for divorce in July 2022 after two decades of marriage.

A few months following their public declaration of separation, it emerged that Sheree was pregnant by another man – a development which marked the point of their breakup.

A judge in the Orange County Superior Court has mandated that the M3 personal trainer should provide his former spouse with $10,000 per month as child support, to help them both raise their 10-year-old daughter, Brooklyn, who is their only underage child.

In May, he and Lundstrom tied the knot at Orthodox church in Laguna Beach, California.

At the Montage Laguna Beach, the double Daytime Emmy award recipient extended invitations to a total of 45 guests for an evening event by the sea, complete with a reception and candlelit dinner. Among those invited were his fellow stars from General Hospital, Jonathan Jackson and Lisa Vultaggio.

As a dedicated follower, I find myself in a unique position today, standing alongside my three children: Makena, 21, Jack, 19, and Brooklyn, 10, who were all part of the wedding party. My ex-wife Sheree Amador also had her two daughters, Lilah, 14, and Hannah, 10, from a previous relationship, joining us in this special event.

After their heartfelt, love-filled wedding celebration, the newlywed couple embarked on a honeymoon in Maui.

Steve has played the role of Jason Morgan on and off from 1991 to 2012, then again from 2017 to 2021 and most recently from 2024 to 2025 on the long-lasting television series General Hospital, which is aired weekdays on ABC.

Michelle actively promotes herself as an influential figure, regularly posting recipes and collaborating with companies such as Drip EZ, Hal’s New York, and Good Culture on sponsored partnerships.

2023 saw Lundstrom becoming the fifth competitor to exit from the second series of Netflix’s Barbecue Showdown. This season eventually crowned Iowa pitmaster Thyron Mathews as its champion.
