General Hospital star Sarah Brown makes a rare sighting with her daughter at a Beverly Hills hotspot
As a lifestyle expert, I find Sarah Joy Brown’s resilience and strength truly inspiring. Her life experiences, both personal and professional, have shaped her into a woman who not only triumphs against adversity but also uses her platform to raise awareness about important issues.
Sarah Joy Brown, well recognized for playing the character Carly Corinthos on General Hospital from 1996 to 2001, went out for an evening meal.
She was seen outside famed Italian restaurant Cipriani in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but express my appreciation for the timeless elegance radiated by the 49-year-old soap opera icon. Under her midi-length coat, a hint of black tights added an alluring touch to her ensemble.
She matched the dramatic coat with a set of shiny burgundy leather booties and styled her hair, parting it on one side and making it sleek.
Her face radiated warmth, adorned with a touch of berry-toned lipstick and a hint of blush on her rosy cheekbones.
The VR Troopers actress had dinner at the celeb friendly eatery with her daughter Jordan Levy, 26.
Jordan looked chic in a strapless red minidress with a slit that went nearly to her hip.
Sarah jointly owns Jordan with her former fiancé Shuki Levy, who is a composer and a previous executive producer on the Power Rangers show, at the age of 77.
The former couple started dating in 1994 when Sarah was 19 and Shuki was 46.
During that period, he was discreetly dating actress Shell Danielson while being legally wedded to Debbie Shelton, who was crowned Miss America in 1970.
Indeed, following their separation in 2000, Shuki continued his marriage. Over the subsequent years, she leveled accusations against him of spying.
This year, Sarah opened up about one of the toughest moments in her life during an episode on Maurice Benard’s podcast (where they used to work together on General Hospital).
She stated that an incident occurred in the year 2016, drastically altering her life’s course. This event had a profound impact on her mental well-being, causing her significant difficulties for quite some time afterward.
‘I was roofied, and I was raped — violently, from what I could tell. I don’t have any memory of it.’
She was in a bar alone in Brooklyn waiting for a friend who didn’t show up when a man offered to buy her a drink.
Despite my instincts telling me otherwise, I agreed. What followed was a stroll outside the bar where we took seats on the patio together.
Following an unkind comment Brown made towards someone, I find myself struggling to remember much else, that is, until the following morning when I awoke with a throbbing headache and found myself wearing another person’s attire.
She did make clear the man who bought her the drink was not the man who raped her.
According to Brown, upon waking up, I found myself completely dressed, wearing a different bra than the one I slept in, and someone else’s trousers.
From the comfort of someone else’s bed, I gaze out at a brick wall through a window, my heart racing with a feeling of panic. It’s around 10 am, and my head is throbbing painfully.
In the room, a 30-year-old gentleman was present along with her and Sarah. Sarah observed that he appeared genuinely kind and ordinary at first. However, it didn’t take long for her to suspect he was being dishonest when he claimed she had asked him to help her escape from the man who had bought her a drink.
He called her an Uber which dropped her off in a random spot in the middle of Brooklyn.
She hastily exited and began to retch, emptying her stomach contents into a potted plant. There was white froth, she explained, adding that she had consumed red wine the previous evening.
Upon reaching a hotel, I found myself disheveled and in pain, as she explained with concern, displaying visible broken capillaries on her neck and a fractured toe.
When she got back to L.A. and got a new phone, she found her attacker’s number in the phone.
She searched for a phone number on her computer, during which time he messaged her saying she had been drinking in Brooklyn and they had an encounter; however, he had taken precautions by using a condom.
She expressed that she couldn’t help but weep, saying, “I was heartbroken beyond words when someone took advantage of me physically, leaving no recollections behind.
And she has advice to share from her traumatic experience: ‘Always buy your own drink.’
