According to reports, it seems that Gemma Collins plans on attempting “I’m A Celebrity” once more, as she previously left the series only three days into her debut run.

In the year 2014, this individual embarked on an adventurous journey Down Under, but their stint in the jungle was brief, spanning just three days before they returned to the UK.

According to recent news, it appears she might return for the All Stars edition of the ITV show, which is taking place in South Africa.

According to The Sun, Gemma is currently at the top of the consideration list for the upcoming series, and discussions with her have reportedly started among the executives. However, no formal agreement has been reached as of now.

According to a source, she initially disliked it, but they believe it could become television treasure for her audience if she decided to try it again.

After more than ten years since her sudden departure, Gemma expressed her readiness to return to the jungle, should an opportunity arise.

The reality TV personality had pledged to see it through earlier, expressing to the Mirror before embarking on her jungle journey: “I believe it will be incredibly challenging; each time I contemplate it, I get a queasy feeling, honestly.

I understand that the task ahead will be challenging for me, but remember, nobody conqueres the GC without a fight. Whenever I feel disheartened, I’ll just take a deep breath and remind myself, “You got this! You can do it.” That’s my mindset going into this – nothing can defeat me.

During her time on the program, the guest complained about the insufficient food supply and less than luxurious surroundings, which caused some viewers to speculate that these factors may have contributed to her departure.

Shortly following her appearance on the program, Gemma asserted that she had been physically abused by her ex-boyfriend, Alex Moss, prior to their move to Australia – a claim he has refuted.

She shared with The Sun earlier that she had been brutally attacked by her partner the evening preceding her jungle entry. She feels fortunate to still be alive, as he almost took her life in the beating.

Additionally, she mentioned that the jungle turned out to be more challenging than she had anticipated, revealing that her strength wasn’t as robust as she had assumed it to be.

‘An extremely personal and heavy event occurred to me prior to my flight to Australia, and its impact in the camp was much greater than I had anticipated. I found it difficult to continue functioning under those circumstances.’

In the year 2022, Gemma shared additional information about her ordeal; precisely 24 hours prior to her appearance on I’m A Celeb, she experienced a traumatic incident where she was both mugged and physically assaulted.

On her Instagram, she posted a video montage of her brief time on the show, extending good wishes to the fresh lineup of celebrity competitors.

However, the celebrity explained the urgency of her departure by revealing that she was dealing with a very distressing situation, as she was still recuperating from the assault.

Gemma shared: ‘Sending warm wishes to everyone embarking on the jungle adventure this season, @boygeorgeofficial! The campmates look amazing, but unfortunately, my stay in the jungle was cut short. Few people know that I was unfortunate enough to be robbed and physically attacked just 24 hours before departing for Australia.’

Although I didn’t want to disappoint anyone, I attended the event but found myself in a horrific condition due to shock. I couldn’t continue as you might expect. I faced criticism for this, but consider this: if you were robbed, attacked, and then sent into the jungle, you would likely have trouble too. I won’t let anyone undermine my dreams anymore.

Previously, Gemma disclosed how the widespread mockery following her brief public stint negatively impacted her.

She encountered criticism for showing emotion about the idea of leaping from a helicopter and finding the food options unappealing, confessing that she needed to grow a resilient attitude to endure harsh online ridicule.

On The Mail’s Everything I Know About Me podcast in May, Gemma admitted that negativity pushed her to such a low point that she contemplated suicide, expressing regretfully, ‘If only I could have been like Caroline Flack.’

In 2020, Caroline took her life following her arrest for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton. This unfortunate incident occurred at that time.

Reflecting on the time following her departure from the jungle, Gemma stated: ‘Could you ever picture winning the most popular TV show, earning £75,000, which was a significant amount back then, only to endure physical attacks and robbery? All of that left me quite upset.’

Overwhelmed with emotion, she continued, “Then came the humiliation, as if you recall the television shows’ comments: ‘Gemma Collins departed the jungle, she was famished, she was…’

Furthermore, let me clarify that none of this was my doing. I recall a time when I was in my apartment, feeling an overwhelming desire to end it all. Yet, I assure you, I haven’t committed any wrongdoings. My departure from the jungle was prompted by an incident that happened to me personally.

Nobody spoke truthfully about the incident involving me, leaving me burdened with a sense of guilt as if I myself had committed a wrongdoing.

Gemma went on to say: “I’m really disappointed about that situation, as I believe I missed out on a valuable experience. Additionally, I felt incredibly belittled afterwards. While I’ve moved past it now, it’s undeniably left an impact on me.

However, what I most deeply regret about the jungle is that I likely wouldn’t have emerged victorious in the show. Given my initial performances, it’s evident that I could have provided plenty of laughter if I had stayed longer – as seen from the first few days I spent there.

However, the emotional turmoil that ensued afterwards was so intense, it pushed me to the brink of despair. In my solitude, I contemplated ending my life, as I felt I could no longer bear the burden.

The television figure shared that she needed approximately two months to emerge from seclusion and work on her emotional well-being, following a period when she had reached a critical limit.

However, she pondered: ‘It seems to have turned me into a more resilient individual. Some label me as demanding due to my personal boundaries.’

‘Caroline Flack’s situation after the jungle makes me think that it could have been me, too. Thankfully, I didn’t do anything foolish, as I would have regretted any actions like those.’
