Gavin & Stacey’s James Corden and Ruth Jones reunite for new British comedy drama

The popular British comedy series, “Gavin & Stacey,” is going to see a reunion of its stars and co-creators, James Corden and Ruth Jones, as they work together on a fresh comedy drama.

Entitled “The Choir“, the upcoming series puts Jones and Corden in charge, both as hosts and executive producers.

According to Deadline, I’m thrilled about the latest Apple TV+ production that casts me as siblings, Ben and Lisa. We’ve been apart for some time now.

In earlier discussions, it was mentioned that there might be additional episodes of the show Gavin & Stacey after the Christmas special. However, Jones dismissed the possibility, but expressed a desire to collaborate with Corden on other projects in the future.

At the 2025 BAFTA TV Awards, she expressed her affection for collaborating with James Corden, stating, ‘I truly enjoy working with him, and I hope our partnership continues.’

There’s a good chance we’ll collaborate again since we both enjoy spending time together in a shared space. While we do take quite a few naps, our productivity doesn’t stop there – we also manage to write when inspired!
