‘In words, I cannot fully capture it, but Gavin was my initial role model, admiration, and hero. This is what Broadway actor Ben Platt expressed on his Instagram Stories.’

After witnessing my initial Broadway performance, he guided me through the backstage area. It was astonishing to find such an extraordinarily gifted individual who was adored by everyone as their favorite person. I yearned to mimic his singing style and aspired to emulate him.

Occasionally, I’m at a loss for words to express my sorrow. Today, that feeling hits hard as we mourn the loss of someone whose life was cut short, before their time, amidst their creative journey. My heart goes out to his family and closest friends during this difficult time. This just isn’t right. We will remember him always.
