Gary Oldman returns in Slow Horses as season 5 release window confirmed in teaser clip

Slow Horses season 5 has confirmed a release window in a brand-new teaser clip.

As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the next adventure in my favorite Apple TV+ spy series is on its way, following the exciting fourth season that premiered towards the end of last year. The streaming service has officially announced that we’ll be reunited with Jackson Lamb and the team this summer.

During a sneak peek at their upcoming summer lineup, a quick look at Gary Oldman’s character, Lamb, from the fifth season was revealed, depicting him inside an elevator.

In the upcoming Season 5, we’ll follow a plotline inspired by Mick Herron’s novel “London Rules” from his series. This storyline looks set to deliver a thrilling mix of political machinations centered around character Peter Judd, along with some enigmatic terrorist incidents.

Additionally, we’re aware that Hugo Weaving is set to reprise his role as the antagonist, Frank Harkness, in season 4. The actor announced his comeback back in November.

We’re nearing a stage with the Slow Horses series, as the number of seasons is approaching the number of books Mick Herron has penned.

In addition to the upcoming fifth installment, fans can anticipate a sixth series too, which was officially confirmed following the completion of season 4.

The upcoming season plans to incorporate the sixth and seventh books from Herron’s series. In this narrative, the Slow Horses find themselves caught up in a perilous, vengeance-driven game orchestrated by Diana Taverner.

Global viewers have developed a fond affection for the “Slow Horses”, and I’m thrilled that Gary Oldman will spearhead this high-profile ensemble as they embark on another witty and action-packed journey, shared Jay Hunt, Apple TV+’s European creative director at the time.

Slow Horses seasons 1-4 are available on Apple TV+. Season 5 is due this summer.
