Gary Lineker’s Shocking Behavior Exposed: Presenter Reveals Regret and Disgust After Awful Encounter

Last August, unfortunately, I found myself working alongside Gary Lineker during an ad filming session.

In my book, being on time is a fundamental aspect of respect and professionalism – almost akin to a tradition. So, when he showed up over an hour late, I felt a pang of disappointment as a devoted fan might feel when their idol misses a concert. The scorching sun was shining brightly, and the day was brimming with important matters. This tardiness struck me as a blatant disregard for punctuality, something I value deeply in any professional setting.

Rather than attempting to make amends and endeavoring to gain acceptance from the junior team members, he instead exhibited a clear disregard for them for the remainder of the day.

At some stage, a relatively new, college-recently graduated team member inquired about something innocuous, yet he responded harshly without cause. To this very moment, I find myself wishing I had addressed his behavior at the time.

Throughout the day, there was an undeniable sense that he yearned to be elsewhere. The rare moments when he seemed content were typically when discussing himself, yet these instances did not often end positively.

At Colin Furze’s home, a remarkably gifted YouTuber, we conducted our filming session. Lineker, unfortunately, seemed rather glum and displeased, in stark contrast to the jovial Colin.

Beyond his remarkable inventions – like the outlandish idea of affixing rockets to skateboards – he was genuinely kind and compassionate, a truly wonderful person.

As a devoted enthusiast, I shared that I have an impressive following of 11 million on Twitter, Lineker mentioned. However, Colin, known for his modesty yet always ready for a playful exchange, casually boasted about his own substantial fanbase of 12 million on YouTube.

Expressing that Lineker was deflated is similar to saying Gerard Depardieu occasionally enjoys a glass of wine.

I had to scuttle away to another room where no one else could hear my peals of laughter.

At a later point, I chanced upon a reference to Rodney Marsh in a book resting on a coffee table. A maverick genius and an outstanding striker, who represented my cherished Queens Park Rangers, as well as Fulham and Manchester City, he was my childhood idol. However, when I brought him up in conversation with Lineker, all he managed was a harsh critique. It seemed that he found it difficult to say anything positive about him.

And this misanthropic attitude shone through in his tweets about Israel and Gaza.

I found it more appealing when Lineker was positioned near the goal for England, compared to expressing his views on political matters.

He consistently and overly crossed established limits, which resulted in harming the BBC’s reputation as he often made it seem like everything was centered around himself.

If he were genuinely guided by principle, he’d have made a choice between two paths: offering insightful analysis as a football pundit for the BBC, or speaking out boldly about contemporary issues.

Rather than using the opportunity provided by the company as a means to spew venom and bring shame upon it, he instead took advantage of the platform, earning significantly higher wages than any other employee, all while doing so.

His overconfidence is quite astonishing. Just recently, he declared that if one remains silent about the Palestinians in Gaza, it’s as if they’re nearly accomplices. Such nonsense!

He might possess an exceptionally well-educated right foot, yet when it comes to global matters, he could benefit from some guidance or mentoring.

Despite serious human rights concerns regarding the treatment of the Uighurs in China and the denial of education to girls by the Taliban, it’s worth noting that in the realm of Leicester City’s illustrious hometown hero, only one geopolitical matter requires our immediate focus.

Who does he think he is?

It would have been better if the BBC had demonstrated more backbone and terminated his employment earlier. However, they chose a path of compromise, which often leads to giving an individual more power.

So far, his departure is long overdue. Given that the supposed divine orator from above seems to have human flaws.
