Gary Barlow’s Home Robbed! Police Drop Investigation?!
A probe into a raid at Gary Barlow’s £6 million mansion has reportedly been dropped by police.
In April 2024, when the Take That band member was performing with them on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, a group of burglars targeted his residence.
According to a source, it is possible that the group responsible for the raid has left the country, implying that such actions make the work of law enforcement significantly more challenging.
The Thames Valley Police informed the media outlet that they have submitted the case, keeping it on hold until more details become available, and once again urged potential witnesses to come forward.
TopMob has contacted representatives for Gary Barlow and Thames Valley Police for comment.
Gary, aged 54, resides in the house along with his spouse Dawn, who is 35 years old, and their children Daniel, Emily, and Daisy. It’s uncertain whether they were present during the search at the time.
As a devoted admirer, I’ve learned from The Sun that during the cover of darkness, these cunning thieves managed to pry open the mansion’s main entrance, though it remains uncertain if any valuables were swiped in their daring break-in.
It wasn’t until the next day that it was reported Gary didn’t know about the burglary, as the police were notified and investigators were seen taking photos of the house by neighbors during the subsequent days.
A bystander informed the press: ‘As I passed by, I observed officers photographing the damaged gates. This was the scene they were documenting.’
‘They were left half open. A few days later the gates had been fixed.’
A person mentioned that the police had inquired about the incident with them, yet they claimed ignorance regarding it. They observed the gates swaying open. Given its remote location, they suggested it serves as a reminder for everyone.
They added that the region was filled with many grand homes, including Gary’s, as only one among many. They expressed their hope that the authorities would take stronger measures in addressing the issue of property crimes.
On April 6, Gary, joined by bandmates Howard Donald and Mark Owen, made an appearance during the second-to-last episode of Saturday Night Takeaway’s final season.
The trio opened the show with a rendition of their hit song, Shine.

In an uncommon disclosure, Gary discussed the reason behind his kids’ decision not to follow in his well-known career path, as he talked about his family.
The member of the band Take That, Dan, shares his life with his wife Dawn Andrews and their children Daniel (age 24), Emily (age 22), and Daisy (age 15). Over the course of his career, he has amassed an estimated fortune of £90 million.
He shared with The Mirror that his kids are remarkably distinct from him, and although he’s achieved great success in the entertainment industry, they’ve demonstrated a lack of enthusiasm for it, preferring to pursue academic paths instead.
Daniel and Emily, who are the eldest, seem to have gravitated towards medicine and physiology with a focus on physical conditioning, while I’m not entirely sure about our youngest, Daisy, as she’s still figuring out her path. However, she is quite studious, unlike me and my spouse,” he mentions.
While I suspect they won’t pursue a career in music like mine, I would not have stopped them if they expressed interest. In fact, it has turned out to be quite profitable for me.
Each day, I continue to find joy in my work, and discovering that it also provides me with a livelihood only adds to this contentment. There are numerous roles within the entertainment industry that offer immense satisfaction, and I believe there are harsher realities beyond the one I currently inhabit.
Previously this month, Gary shared a heartfelt story about his first kiss with his spouse Dawn Andrews. He admitted that it took a bold move during a night of drinking to muster the courage.
On the Table Manners podcast hosted by Jessie and Lennie Ware, the member of Take That opened up about his 24-year union with his ex-dancer spouse.
In an open discussion, Gary shared that it was in the back of a van following a lively evening out when he and his wife Dawn (whom he married in 2000) exchanged their first kiss.
He mentioned that we were in Manchester, had been at a nightclub, and were all crammed into a van on our way back home.
In the farthest corner of the van, we sat side by side. My arm was wrapped around hers, and as I looked at her, I felt a sense of certainty wash over me: This is the moment, my children, I am ready to embark on this journey.
In addition, Gary shared that they had been professional partners for quite some time prior to their transition into a romantic relationship.
When asked about their first encounter, Gary explained: ‘She was a dancer back then. In 1988, I met her for the first time while working on a dreadful video project by Virgin. They had branches across the country, and there were two dancers involved in that project. She was one of them.’
Later on, we only spent a day together without any further plans in mind. Over time, we crossed paths at events such as Top of the Pops and the Royal Variety Performances, and it was during a tour in 1995 that we were joined by around twenty dancers.
