As a seasoned gamer of life with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that I’ve seen enough twists and turns to fill an entire TV series – but when it comes to shows like Bad Sisters, I’m all in! The first season left us on a cliffhanger that had me scratching my head, wondering if the story needed another chapter. But hey, who am I to judge? When Sharon Horgan is involved, I’ll happily follow the sisters down any rabbit hole they choose to dig.

The Garvey sisters are returning to our televisions this autumn, and I’m genuinely thrilled for the second season of “Bad Sisters”! Some shows simply don’t warrant a follow-up, but given how season 1 concluded, it seemed like a suitable place to wrap things up. However, it’s evident that there are still stories left untold. And when it comes to this particular series, I’m more than happy for another round.

The second season of “Bad Sisters” will debut on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, streaming on Apple TV+. The first two episodes will be available immediately, followed by a new episode each week until the season finale, which is set to stream on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024. This makes for a wonderful holiday treat! There are eight episodes in this season, two fewer than the first season. Two years after the “accidental death” of Grace’s abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on, but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust.

Is it merely my observation or does it appear as though Grace is about to remarry? The picture shared from Apple TV+ (which I’ve posted again above) shows her in a stunning white gown, while her sisters are all dressed in vibrant yellow attire. Additionally, if you take on the role of a detective and closely examine the photos adorning the walls, there seems to be one where Grace is closely embracing an unfamiliar man. This could potentially be the central mystery of this season. As Grace navigates her wedding preparations, secrets emerge and the past resurfaces to complicate matters for them all. Oh dear!

As a longtime fan of Sharon Horgan’s work, I eagerly anticipate this unique series that seamlessly combines murder mystery with a dash of dark humor. With her exceptional talent, Horgan never disappoints in delivering engaging and captivating stories. The Garvey sisters, each distinct and charismatic, add an extra layer of allure to the show, making it hard to resist tuning in. I’m thrilled to see Sharon reprise her role as eldest sister Eva, with Anne-Marie Duff portraying Grace, Eva Birthistle as Ursula, Sarah Greene as Bibi, and Eve Hewson as Becka joining the cast. Their collective chemistry promises an unforgettable viewing experience that I can’t wait to be a part of!

Among the cast members reprising their roles are Daryl McCormack portraying Matthew, whose relationship with Becka remains uncertain; Yasmine Akram playing Nora, wife to Bibi; Jonjo O’Neill as Donal, husband to Ursula; Saise Quinn as Blánaid, daughter of Grace; and Michael Smiley appearing as Roger, neighbor to Grace.
