According to our findings, it’s been confirmed that Brooks was the one who initiated the lawsuit in Mississippi, following the disclosure by Roe’s legal team that the prominent figure had proactively submitted a lawsuit in the state.
For approximately fifteen years, Roe was self-employed, working with Brooks, until relocating from Tennessee to Mississippi in May of 2020.
In a filing under the name ‘John Doe,’ Brooks stated that shortly after moving to Mississippi, it seemed like the defendant was facing financial troubles and requested help from him.
‘Plaintiff complied out of loyalty, friendship and a desire to improved defendant’s condition.
However, the defendant’s requests for financial aid escalated further, culminating in a demand for a paid job position and health benefits from the plaintiff.
I denied the accusations, asserting that they were unfounded and preposterous, allegedly stemming from incidents supposedly happening in the past.
On the 17th of July, an attorney representing Roe delivered a letter to Brooks that contained accusations of various forms of inappropriate sexual behavior. These accusations spanned from claims of “grooming” for improper sexual purposes, creating a sexually hostile work environment, unwanted physical advances of a sexual nature, and instances of sexual assault.
According to the lawsuit filed by Brooks, it is stated that Roe had accused him of planning to have someone kill her; however, this accusation was not made in Roe’s original lawsuit.
Brooks asserted that the demand letter represented the initial instance where he became aware of any accusations levied against him.
He stated that the letter threatened to ‘publicly file’ a civil complaint – the draft of which was included – unless he ‘agreed to pay… millions of dollars’.
His lawsuit stated that the letter discussed numerous instances of high-profile individuals being sued for sexual misconduct, which resulted in substantial jury verdicts worth millions of dollars.
On the 23rd of August, 2024, I penned down another heartfelt letter, this time proposing to hold off on my ill-founded and disparaging legal action…all in hopes of receiving a substantial monetary compensation in return.

In response, Roe’s legal team alleged that Brooks was trying to manipulate or exploit the legal system with his preemptive action from last month.
Holding a copy of Ms. Roe’s California sexual assault claim, it appears that Mr. Doe hurried to this courthouse in an apparent effort to exert more power and intimidate his sexual assault accuser, as suggested by their response to the lawsuit he filed, which was obtained by DailyMail.com.
I maintain that he carried out his actions under the guise of being invested in negotiations, all the while intentionally delaying a pending lawsuit we hadn’t yet filed.
According to DailyMail.com, there are fresh details about the suit that have emerged, in which Roe alleges that Brooks committed several instances of assault and inappropriate behavior towards him.
In 2019, she asserted that he exploited the financial difficulties they both faced and used this situation as a means to reveal a private aspect of Brooks that he typically keeps hidden from the public.
As a devoted adherent of Roe’s perspective, I understand that he perceives himself as having the right to seek sexual satisfaction whenever he desires, even if that means utilizing a female colleague in such pursuit. In his view, this behavior is considered acceptable.
On one instance, Roe alleged that Brooks appeared before her, having just exited a shower without any clothes on and in a state of arousal. She claimed that Brooks made her touch this state, forcing her hand and disclosing that he had fantasized about the situation and desired her to perform a sexual act upon him.
She asserted that the situation became more serious in May 2019, when he requested she accompany him to Los Angeles for a Grammy tribute honoring Sam Moore. According to her, he reserved a one-bedroom hotel suite without offering her a separate room.
In my own words, standing just under five feet and weighing a mere 100 pounds, I found myself the victim of a vicious assault in my suite, perpetrated by a man towering over me at six feet tall and carrying close to 300 pounds – a physical imbalance that made him more than capable of exerting his power over me.
Apart from asserting that he allegedly sent suggestive messages and urged her to engage in explicit conversations with him, she added that he bragged about having intimate relations with numerous women across various parts of hotels, regardless of their race – white, black, or brown. He made these boasts on diverse surfaces within the hotel rooms.
In addition, Brooks frequently mentioned his desire for a sexual encounter involving both Yearwood and Roe, and allegedly exposed himself and inappropriately touched her body, specifically her breasts, according to the lawsuit.
Interestingly, Roe claimed that Yearwood had heard about his proposal for a threesome on more than one instance. Moreover, he suggested that his wife was privy to an explicit discussion involving Brooks, where the idea of designing a shampoo bottle that could also serve as a sex toy was brought up.
