Garcelle Beauvais Claps Back at Erika Jayne’s Shady Comment on Her Love Life!

During Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Garçelle Beauvais retaliated with a sharp rebuttal to Erika Jayne’s subtle jab regarding her personal relationships.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who is 58 years old and has had a strained relationship with her castmate since 2021, briefly discussed the matter with host Andy Cohen and guest Leslie Bibb.

Lately, Jayne mentioned that Beauvais saw its prime in the 90s, and a viewer phoned the program to get Garcelle’s thoughts on Erika’s remark.

Without a moment’s pause, the television host spontaneously replied with an expletive directed at Erika, causing Cohen’s mouth to gape open in astonishment and eliciting a mixed reaction of gasps and applause from the live audience.

Afterward, Andy interjected by commenting on how flawless Garcelle’s ’90s lineup was. To this, the actress playfully responded, ‘Perhaps I reached my pinnacle back then.’

Beauvais went on to say, “Let me tell you, I married for affection, not wealth,” which might have been a hint at Jayne’s union with Tom Girardi – whom she filed for divorce from in 2020, and both were later implicated in an embezzlement case.

Previously, Garcelle was romantically linked with well-known personalities like Eddie Murphy, Sean Penn, Will Smith, and moreover, she alleged a brief, intimate encounter with Johnny Depp in a Miami nightclub.

Actress from “Coming to America” got married to Daniel Saunders in 1991 and remained together until their separation in 2000. They were parents to a son named Oliver, who is now 32 years old.

In 2001, the reality television personality got married to Michael Nilon and together they have twin children named Jax and Jaid, who are now 17 years old. Unfortunately, they parted ways in 2011.

In 2019, Beauvais was connected with screenwriter Michael Elliot, but their relationship came to an end in 2020.

Jayne made remarks concerning her fellow actor’s romantic circumstances during the ongoing 14th season of RHOBH, following Garcelle’s inquiry about Kyle Richards’ relationship with Morgan Wade.

Inside the confessional booth, Erika expressed her thoughts: “Garcelle seems to be curious about Kyle’s personal matters, but we don’t have any insights into Garcelle’s own private life. Frankly, I wonder who might be sharing a bed with Garcelle.

She then added, ‘I know she had a roster. Back in the ’90s, it was good. Maybe she peaked.’   

The conflict between Beauvais and Jayne originated in 2021, stemming from an incident where Erika allegedly scolded the actress’s adolescent son Jax at a party celebrating Garcelle during season 12.

In that moment, addressing a 14-year-old individual, I urgently exclaimed, “Quickly, please leave this place!” I was also rumored to have shown affection towards Garcelle’s oldest son, Oliver, referring to him as “attractive.

After Jax, Beauvais’ son, expressed feeling violated by the incident, a heated argument ensued between the two reality stars.

Instead of using such harsh language towards Jax, the mother-of-three advised Erika to speak more kindly, as her previous words – “Get the f out of here” – were inappropriate and hurtful.

In a continuation of the unfolding events, Jayne chose to express publicly on social media that she had discarded Garcelle’s book, “Love Me As I Am.

After that, she included a caption saying: ‘@Garcelle, although we’re not connected on here anymore, I’m confident this kiss emoji will catch your eye.’

In the final episodes of 2023’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Jayne extended an apology to Jax, helping to mend their strained friendship with Beauvais.

Jax went to Erika and told her, ‘I just wanted to come and let you know that everything is okay.’ 

The television host responded by saying, “I sincerely apologize deeply,” and further explained that she had overstepped boundaries.

I’ve already spoken about this with your mom, but now I’m glad I can tell you myself. Therefore, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

In a private conversation later on, Jayne praised the teenage boy, saying, ‘This young fellow really demonstrated maturity by approaching and saying, “No worries, all good.” Garçelle, your work is truly commendable.’

Reflecting on the situation, I find myself wishing that it was Erika who had taken the initiative to speak with Jax. Given her maturity and understanding, she would have been an ideal choice in this scenario. However, I must commend Jax for his self-assurance; it’s reassuring to see him stepping up and addressing matters directly on his own.

In the previous year, 2024, Garcelle shared a quick insight into her romantic endeavors during a chat with First For Women magazine.

When asked about her personal aims, the reality star replied, “I’m seeking love and a partner.

Besides wanting to carry on with my passions, there are times when my children ask me about retirement, but I decline. However, reducing my pace would be nice. The twist is, I’m engaged in activities I adore, and if that isn’t a strong enough reason to persevere, I’m unsure of what else could be!

This current 14th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills started showing back in November of the previous year, and it’s scheduled to end on March 25th this year.

A three-part reunion is also slated to premiere on Bravo beginning next month in April.
