gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 Day 3 Highlights
Show floor was packed with big titles and indies

Day 3 was packed with amazing games, including highly anticipated sequels and exciting indie titles from the region. I really wish I could have been there to try out the new blockbuster games and discover the great indie studios from Southeast Asia that are gaining international attention.
Portable gaming took the center stage

The ROG Xbox Ally X and Ally were extremely popular at the event, attracting large crowds who enjoyed hands-on demos and gameplay competitions. Portable gaming was a clear standout, offering one of the most engaging and interactive experiences. It was great to see so many gamers completely captivated by these new portable gaming systems.
CAPCOM Booth again delighted fans

CAPCOM’s booth was incredibly popular at the event, with fans lining up to play both *Resident Evil Requiem* and *Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection*. It’s easy to see why – everyone was excited to get hands-on with these games from such well-loved franchises.
Southeast Asian Creators also got the spotlight
Regional game developers also presented their newest games, emphasizing unique stories and creative artwork. The third day of the event especially showed how much influence Southeast Asia is having on the worldwide gaming industry.
The day ended with a wonderful Cosplay Competition
The Cosplay Competition was a highlight of the event, showcasing incredible costumes and performances on the main stage. AMAZING CAKRA won Best Team for their portrayal of Djeeta & Lucillius from Granblue Fantasy. Theerawat Phanu took home the Best All Star award as Harry Queen from Batman: Arkham Knight, and Ronald Bert Sta Ana was voted Fan Favourite for his Scorpion cosplay from Mortal Kombat 1.
I was really impressed by the amazing creativity on display in every area, from people to AI, and from kids to robots! Day 3 was a fantastic mix of gaming, fan engagement, and inventive ideas. We’ll have more updates on the final day soon! In the meantime, here’s a look back at what happened at the last gamescom asia event:
