Netmarble’s open-world RPG, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, has revealed its plans for 2026. The developers have shared a preview of upcoming updates, which will focus on improving graphics, enhancing gameplay, and refining character skills, among other things.

We’re starting by focusing on the game’s cutscenes and graphics. This will help create a truly immersive and polished experience for players. Early footage shows noticeably improved visuals, with a lot of care taken to build a detailed and engaging atmosphere.
Defeating enemies will now be more satisfying with a brand new visual effect, designed to make combat feel more immersive. Switching weapons will also feel different, as each one has its own unique set of skills. The developers have made sure each skill is distinct, with its own cooldown and slot, making the weapon system more flexible and giving players more freedom to customize their approach to combat.
New multiplayer content, episode, and market system will be revealed
The game is currently undergoing significant improvements. A new cooperative multiplayer experience centered around Harrenhal is being added, and we might see new characters join the story. This multiplayer content will focus on teamwork, allowing you to play alongside other knights!
Players can look forward to a new story centered around House Lannister. The game will take place primarily in Casterly Rock during Chapter 4, introducing fresh conflicts and tough choices. For those seeking a greater challenge, a new Hard Mode will push your combat skills and strategic thinking to their limits.
Finally, we’re updating the market system with a review. This will give you more ways to grow by trading resources easily and getting the materials you need for your adventure. Coming in January, the World Difficulty Hedge Knight III will be available, and it will cost 280,000 Momentum to unlock.
