Game of Thrones creator’s new action fantasy finally confirms UK release date
In the realm of the Forgotten Realms, a fresh fantasy-action film from the mind of George R.R. Martin, creator of “Game of Thrones,” has been officially set for its UK premiere.
Following the unveiling of the initial trailer last month, it’s anticipated that the movie will premiere in U.K. theaters on March 14th, a week after its debut in U.S. cinemas.
According to the film adaptation of the title short story written by the author, Milla Jovovich plays the role of the sorceress Gray Alys, while Dave Bautista portrays her companion, Boyce.
The summary states that a Queen dispatches the formidable and intimidating sorceress Gray Alys to the eerie, desolate wasteland known as the Lost Lands in pursuit of an enchanted ability. In this haunting landscape, Gray Alys and her escort, the wanderer Boyce, will need to employ cunning and brute force to overcome both human adversaries and demons.
The trailer shows Alys moving towards Boyce, as she looks for someone to act as her guide to find a massive treasure or harness a colossal power.
Working together would be essential for survival, as both being solitary individuals, they must combine their strengths on this treacherous trip.
In the realm known as “The Forgotten Territories,” is crafted by filmmaker Paul WS Anderson, who has previously worked on “Resident Evil.” The screenplay for this production is penned by Constantin Werner, based on a story co-authored by Werner and Anderson.
In addition to leading characters Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista, the cast includes Arly Jover, Amara Okereke, Fraser James, and Deirdre Mullins in secondary roles.
