Game Informer returns with entire staff in place
After a sudden closure in August 2024, Game Informer is back in action, bringing their full team along!
It was a melancholy moment in the world of video game media when Game Informer ceased operations after more than three decades without any prior notice. However, just as unexpectedly, there was some positive news: Game Informer is making a comeback, and the entire team is back on board!
Setting aside any jests, it’s fantastic for anyone who appreciates video games, the media coverage surrounding them, and has been a dedicated follower of Game Informer’s work spanning over three decades.
With a surprise video announcement, Game Informer returns in full force
On their social media platforms and YouTube channel, Game Informer is now active again! A video announcing their return has been posted, causing a great deal of excitement across the gaming community.
Our aim is to update Game Informer while maintaining its exceptional quality that it’s been known for since 1991. Once more, you’ll be able to access it both in physical and digital formats. The team can’t wait to bring back the unique content they helped establish all those years ago.
Essentially, Gunzilla took over Game Informer, which means that Game Informer now operates as a subsidiary known as Game Informer Inc. For further details, check out the official video announcement featuring various team members’ messages.
They affirm that additional details will be provided soon for the re-introduction of the physical magazine. In the meantime, numerous game reviews have been posted on their site, which were written during the period when they had to momentarily suspend operations.
