Gal Gadot Struggles with Raising Daughters in ‘Confusing World of Filters and TikTok’

Gal Gadot shares that she finds it challenging navigating the intricate landscape of filters and TikTok while bringing up her four girls.

Actress Gal Gadot, who played the role of Wonder Woman, has four children – Alma (age 13), Maya (8 years old), Daniella (3 years old) and Ori (12 months old) – with her husband, Jaron Varsano.

In an interview with DuJour Magazine, Gal expressed that her childhood years were less complex compared to what her own children might encounter, since social media wasn’t present during her formative years.

During her discourse about portraying the Evil Queen in the forthcoming live-action remake of Snow White, she drew a parallel, noting that the character’s envy towards Snow White was primarily driven by the latter’s youthful charm and timeless good looks.

She said: ‘I always tell my kids that for me, growing up was so much easier than it is for you.

In simpler terms, ‘They were raised surrounded by various filters and carefully selected posts. They believe what they see is genuine, unaware that it has been heavily manipulated and edited. I often have to tell them, ”Everything you encounter out there is fabricated, not authentic.” It can be quite perplexing for a young person.’

Additionally, the star shared some glimpses into the chaos of her bustling household, acknowledging that it’s quite different from the tranquil home she was raised in, which was remarkably peaceful, in Israel.

With a chuckle, she commented: “Visit my home and you’ll find a whirlwind of laughter, squabbles, tears – the works! It’s a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Yes, it can be overwhelming at times. I juggle, I strive, and we get help when needed. My husband is an incredible father. Sleep? Not much of it.

Following Gal’s initial open discussion about the frightening blood clot she experienced during her fourth pregnancy, it occurred.

In February, the star was anticipating the birth of her fourth child alongside her husband Jaron Varsano, but she suddenly began experiencing severe headaches.

Following a thorough examination, she was eventually diagnosed with a rather uncommon condition called cerebral venous thrombosis, making up only about 3% of all reported strokes globally.

On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she shared an experience where she encountered a moment of immense fear, realizing for the first time what it truly feels like to be terrified to the point of death.

She emphasized that she was quite noticeably expecting her daughter Ori, who recently celebrated her first birthday, and felt compelled to discuss this topic as she believes it carries great significance.

She stated that if anyone elsewhere in the world encounters a similar situation after hearing her story, they will go for a check-up,” was met with applause.

Gadot went on to explain, “I had a large brain clot, in fact, I had three of them. When I commit to something, I give it my all,” she chuckled.

She began experiencing severe headaches that persisted for about three weeks. She visited various doctors and specialists, including neurologists. It’s crucial to be an active proponent of one’s own health.

‘Our bodies constantly send us signals, we just need to pay attention and get regular check-ups if necessary. It’s always better to be thorough than to neglect health checks.’

Gadot shared that her doctors believed it was likely a migraine due to hormonal imbalance, but when the symptoms lasted for three weeks, her mother intervened.

Three weeks afterwards, following the onset of those intense headaches, my mom suggested, “It’s time for you to have a check-up right away. I think you should just go ahead and get an MRI,” she continued.

Following the MRI examination, she remarked, ‘They discovered something dreadful, and as a result, we were urgently taken to the hospital. The medical team swiftly delivered the baby thereafter.’

As a grateful patient, I underwent a life-saving thrombectomy procedure. An extraordinary team of caregivers was by my side at Cedars-Sinai. Their compassion and dedication left me awestruck, and as I share this, the applause resonates with my heartfelt appreciation.

She expressed her gratitude by saying, “Mara, Dr. Song, and Michael Alexander – thank you for giving me another chance at life.

However, I strongly recommend that you prioritize self-love, regularly evaluate yourself, and focus on maintaining good health.

She said the baby Ori is healthy, describing her as, ‘a little caterpillar.’
