Gaimin Gladiators teases a potential Dota 2 return with a rumored new roster from SA

Are the Gaimin Gladiators making a comeback?

Gaimin Gladiators, the highly successful Dota 2 team that won many championships in 2023 before disbanding in 2025, is planning to come back. They’re reportedly building a new team with players from South America.

So, Gaimin Gladiators dropped a hint on X – it was in Spanish, but basically they said they’d be making some announcements soon. Then, just a few days later, everyone online started buzzing about who they thought would be on the team’s new roster.

Gaimin Gladiators’ possible new roster for 2026

The Gaimin Gladiators team has broken up right before The International 2025 because of disagreements between the players and the team’s management.

The team initially boasted a roster of players now recognized as legends in their positions, and they dominated 2023 by winning every significant tournament. Despite this success, they narrowly missed winning the championship at The International 2024, finishing as runners-up after a hard-fought match against Team Spirit.

Shortly after the team broke up, news began circulating about which players would compete in the 2026 tournaments representing GG.

  • Carry: David “Parker” Nicho Flores
  • Mid Lane: Gonzalo “DarkMago” Herrera
  • Offlane: Frank “Frank” Ayala
  • Soft Support: Elvis “Scofield” Peña
  • Hard Support: Yelsthin “Elmisho” Hurtado

The next team lineup is likely to be built around players from Perú Rejects, who quickly gained recognition by qualifying for DreamLeague Season 28 through the South American qualifiers. Two of the team’s Peruvian players, Parker and Scofield, have already proven themselves at the highest level, having won PGL Wallachia Season 2 while playing for HEROIC.

Right now, this information should be considered unconfirmed. As of today, Gaimin Gladiators haven’t officially said if they’ll compete in Dota 2 again. We’ll share more details as we learn them.
