Gaimin Gladiators adds roeJ, nicoodoz to CS2 roster

As a dedicated CS:GO gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel excited about the recent roster changes at Gaimin Gladiators. The addition of two familiar faces, nicoodoz and roeJ, to their lineup has me reminiscing about their past successes.

The dynamic Danish duo have reunited once again.

On Tuesday, July 23, Gaimin Gladiators revealed the joining of Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi and Fredrik “roeJ” Røj Christensen to their CS:GO team.

With these lineup adjustments, nicoodoz is set to assume the role of dedicated AWPer for Gaimin Gladiators in place of Jason “salazar.” Meanwhile, roeJ steps up as the team’s new entry fragger, replacing Patrick “patti” Larsen. Although patti previously held the position of in-game leader within the squad, roeJ will not be taking on that responsibility this time. Instead, Magnus “Nodios” Olsen has been appointed as Gaimin Gladiators’ new in-game leader, as reported by HLTV.org.

Nicoodoz and roeJ reunite under Gaimin Gladiators’ banner

Nicoodoz and roeJ have a history together as teammates on Copenhagen Flames from May 2021 to June 2022. Their collaboration significantly contributed to Copenhagen Flams making it to the playoffs at the PGL Antwerp CS:GO Major in May 2022, an impressive underdog performance at a Valve-supported event.

From June 2022 to July 2023, they were scheduled for one more opportunity to play together as part of Fnatic. Yet, their major accomplishments during this period were limited to reaching the playoffs at the IEM Rio CS:GO Major in November 2022.

RoeJ and nicoodoz joining the team will greatly enhance our offensive capabilities, as they bring a wealth of top-tier experience. This is in contrast to their teammates. It’s also a second chance for them to shine following less than impressive performances with HEROIC (for nicoodoz) and Preasy (for roeJ).

Gaimin Gladiators are now:

  • Nicoodoz (AWPer)
  • roeJ (rifler)
  • Nodios (IGL)
  • Jonas “Queenix” Dideriksen (rifler)
  • Tobias “kraghen” Jensen (rifler)
