Gabrielle Union and her daughter Kaavia matched outfits at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie Goat on Friday. The event was full of celebrities.
The 53-year-old actress, who recently shared the reason she and her husband, Dwyane Wade, have never had a romantic encounter on a plane, smiled brightly as she arrived on the red carpet with her seven-year-old child.
Actress Gabrielle Union and her husband, former NBA player Dwyane Wade, share their daughter, Kaavia. The couple married in 2014.
Okay, let me tell you, Gabrielle Union absolutely nailed her look! She was wearing this amazing outfit with a really cool animal print – think black stripes mixed with pops of red and tan. It was such a statement piece, and honestly, a total head-turner. I’m loving this blend of bold and earthy tones!
She also put on black, open-toed heels and styled her long hair into a half-updo.
Union kept her accessories simple, letting her outfit take center stage, and added some eye-catching bracelets to one wrist.
Her daughter wore a dress with a similar pattern, but in shades of blue and green.
The famous actor gently held hands with the seven-year-old child while they posed for some lovely photos.
Wade joined them for the cheerful celebration, wearing a dark green cardigan and light gray pants.
During the red carpet photos, the family unexpectedly got to pose with a live goat.
Union and Wade were also spotted cozying up together for additional snaps ahead of the screening.
Last year, the actress told People magazine about her strong relationship with her daughter. She and her husband, Wade, make a point of encouraging their daughter, Kaavia, to always embrace her true self.
The celebrity shared that Kaavia is very independent and isn’t shy about expressing her opinions.
Union also talked about the guidance she and her husband offer their daughter regarding fashion and expressing herself creatively.
The actress said their advice to Kaavia is to simply do whatever makes him happy, even when it comes to his hair.
Ultimately, how a woman chooses to express herself – through makeup, hairstyle, clothing, or anything else – is entirely her decision. It’s her body, and she gets to make those choices.
Union added, ‘And as long as it’s safe and appropriate for the weather, then it’s really up to her.
You are free to be yourself and express yourself however you choose – it’s entirely your decision.
In addition to her daughter Kaavia, Gabrielle Union is also a stepmother to Dwyane Wade’s four other children: Zaire, 24, Dahveon, 21, Zaya, 18, and Xavier, 12.
Okay, so I’m completely obsessed with this new movie, ‘Goat’! It’s an animated comedy about sports, and it’s FINALLY coming out in theaters on February 13th! I’ve been counting down the days, seriously!
As a lifestyle expert, I was thrilled to learn that Union lent her incredible voice talents to bring the character of Jett Fillmore to life in the movie! And it wasn’t just her – Wade also stepped into the booth to give voice to the character Rosette. It’s always exciting to see talented individuals contribute in such a creative way.
According to IMDB, the story centers around a little goat who has big ambitions: he gets the incredible opportunity to become a professional roarball player. Roarball is a fast-paced, full-contact sport where both male and female animals compete, and it’s known for being played by the most athletic and competitive creatures around.
The film features a talented cast including Caleb McLaughlin from Stranger Things, Nicola Coughlan of Bridgerton, basketball star Stephen Curry, musician Jelly Roll, Nick Kroll, David Harbour, and Aaron Pierre.
Ayesha Curry looked fashionable at the Los Angeles premiere of “Goat” on Friday, wearing a satin halter dress in a pretty shade of pink.
The Food Network star joined her husband and NBA player Stephen Curry on the red carpet.
The athlete wore tan pants, a dark brown leather jacket, and a white shirt.
The couple, married since 2011, beamed as they stopped for a quick photo shoot.
Jennifer Hudson looked like she was having fun in her outfit, which included high-waisted gray pants, a fitted black top, and a long gray coat.
The singer put on black-heeled boots and added several eye-catching necklaces to her outfit.
Hudson not only provided the voice for a character in the movie, but also playfully posed with a goat while on the red carpet.
Jenifer Lewis, known for her role on Black-ish, wore black pants and a black blazer with white detailing around the cuffs and collar.
She slipped into a pair of closed-toed, black pumps with dazzling embellishments on top.
MC Lyte showcased her fashion sense with light blue jeans and a patterned shirt.
The singer, known for “Poor Georgie,” completed the look with a cozy brown jacket and a pair of knee-high brown boots.
Lyte was joined by Savannah ‘Van Van’ McConneaughey, a young rapper who recently gained popularity online. She wore a black dress with a playful pink tulle trim.
Matthew McConaughey gained popularity through social media and has since collaborated with musicians like Lyte and Snoop Dogg.
FLO, the band consisting of Jorja Douglas, Renée Downer, and Stella Quaresma, turned heads on the red carpet with their stunning dresses.
Jelly Roll and his nine-year-old son, Noah, attended the screening, and Jelly Roll used the opportunity to show off his recent weight loss.
Jelly Roll and his son both opted for all-black ensembles as they paused for snaps together.
This news follows closely after the singer’s successful weekend at the Grammys, where they won three awards, including Best Contemporary Country Album for their record, Beautifully Broken.
As a style enthusiast, I have to say Caleb McLaughlin absolutely nailed his look! He was incredibly sharp in a classic black suit, perfectly complemented by a crisp white dress shirt. It was a really polished and sophisticated ensemble.
He flashed a cheerful smile as he posed with a goat on the red carpet.
Colton Underwood and Jordan C. Brown kept it casual in Nike outfits at the star-studded premiere.
The pair were also accompanied by their son Bishop who was born in September 2024.
Patton Oswalt, known for his role on The Goldbergs, was all smiles with his wife, Meredith Salenger, at the event.
Okay, you guys, you are NOT going to believe this! I just saw pictures of Matthew McConaughey – Matthew McConaughey! – with Rayaan Kamal Khan, and they were holding a basketball! But it wasn’t just any basketball, it had ‘GOAT’ written right on it! Like, the Greatest Of All Time? Is this a sign? I’m losing it! Seriously, this is amazing.
Two cute goats stole the show at the Los Angeles premiere, happily posing for pictures on the red carpet.
