Furious Megan Thee Stallion fires back over ex lover Tory Lanez’s new claim a WOMAN shot her in infamous car showdown

Megan Thee Stallion has spoken out against the launch of a new platform called “36 Hours Later” by incarcerated rapper Tory Lanez, which aims to share information suggesting his innocence regarding the shooting incident that took place in July 2020.

Although the site features an audiotape of a witness asserting that Megan’s attacker was female, Megan’s camp argues that Tory Lanez and his legal team are trying to mislead the public by presenting details they’ve previously released as fresh information.

Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, stated on Thursday that Tory Lanez’s team is struggling to maintain a consistent narrative. They persistently bring up evidence from the trial and present it as fresh details, aiming to influence public perception in a desperate manner.

Spiro remarked, “‘Today, there was no fresh evidence presented – merely an unfortunate effort by the Tory team to imitate our presentation style in order to disseminate incorrect information.’

On a Thursday, a website named “36 Hours Later” was launched by the legal team representing the individual from Brampton, Canada. This site offers an in-depth examination of the first three days following the shooting incident that occurred on July 12, 2020.

The site includes clips of an eyewitness telling police officials that the gunshots aimed at Megan were not by Lanez, but rather a female shooter.

In a conversation with Daily Mail, Spiro shared that Lanez’s legal team recently contended the following: Kelsey Harris is alleged to have fired at Megan, while they also suggest that Megan merely stepped on broken glass.

Spiro additionally criticized Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who encouraged California Governor Gavin Newsom last Thursday, suggesting he grant Lanez a pardon due to his conviction being based on an inconsistent, inadequate narrative filled with contradictions, absent evidence, and outright falsehoods.

Representative Luna stated, “The police reports, Megan’s own account, and expert assessments all indicate that Tory was not the one who fired the gun. In fact, it seems that if anyone attempted to halt the dispute, it was him.

As a lifestyle expert, I find it somewhat surprising and perhaps misguided when individuals like Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna choose to involve themselves in California’s criminal justice system for sensational headlines rather than focusing on the issues that truly matter in their own district.

Rather than pursuing celebrities, it would be more beneficial for her to concentrate on serving the people who elected her, the residents of Florida.

Neither The Daily Mail nor either of the teams representing Tory Lanez or Megan Thee Stallion have provided a comment in response to their request.

It seems the approach of presenting public proof is influenced by the persistent court case involving Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, concerning the production of the surprise blockbuster hit “It Ends with Us” from last summer.

The site went live as a reaction to Megan Thee Stallion’s latest Instagram Live, where she shared her perspective on the incidents that took place recently.

As a lifestyle expert, let me share some news from my observations. Approximately a week ago, I noticed the emergence of a new online platform, coming hot on the heels of an eventful week for rapper Lanez. You may recall that he was transferred to a different correctional facility about 10 days prior, following an unfortunate altercation where he sustained 14 stab wounds and multiple injuries. Despite these challenging circumstances, it’s inspiring to see resilience in action as he navigates this new chapter of his life.

On May 22, according to TMZ sources, the rapper known as Talk to Me was transported from his current location to a different facility, approximately three hours away. This new facility is the California Men’s Colony (CMC), which lies near San Luis Obispo, California, rather than the California Correctional Institution (CCI) where he originally was.

Crystal Morgan, the rapper’s legal representative, informed a media outlet that he wasn’t exactly thrilled with the change due to his ongoing recovery from the multiple injuries he suffered during the attack.

Known as Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, the aspiring musician boasts over 32.6 million followers on Instagram and an additional 16.1 million on TikTok.

Or simply:
Megan Pete, also known as a wannabe artist, has a massive following of over 48.7 million across Instagram and TikTok.

She made headlines earlier this month when she called Lanez a ‘demon.’

In response to Lanez’s recent assertion that he did not fire shots at her during the summer night in July 2020 – a time marked by extraordinary events such as the social upheaval following George Floyd’s death, the heated 2020 presidential election campaign, and the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis – the superstar singer made an unexpected declaration.

The assertion originated from the legal team, Unite the People, who are representing Lanez, stating that there’s already proof available to clear Lanez of the violent altercation, an allegation the Savage artist disputed on TikTok.

In January, Megan secured a civil restraining order from Judge Richard Bloom in Los Angeles, following her remote testimony that Lanez conducted a series of harassing actions towards her while he was imprisoned.

According to Judge Richard Bloom’s decision, Tory Lanez is prohibited from communicating with Megan in any manner whatsoever, whether directly or indirectly, over the next five years.

Megan expressed to the court her concern that Lanez might take revenge violently upon his release from detention.

Megan Thee Stallion expressed in court, ‘It feels as though I’m constantly reliving the incident, my shooter ensures that. I fear when he’s released from prison, his anger towards me might not subside… I worry that he may shoot me again, and this time, it could be fatal.’

The Grammy-winning artist informed the court that from within prison, Lanez orchestrated a relentless campaign aimed at causing distress and fear, which she has grown weary of enduring.

According to Judge Bloom, Megan offered sufficient proof showing that Lanez posed a genuine threat of violence that served no legitimate purpose and was intended to severely bother or harass her.

The artist known for “Cry Baby” songs expressed gratitude to the judge when he granted a restraining order, as she mentioned she hasn’t found tranquility since last year’s July shooting incident.

Lawyers for Megan stated in court that Lanez has been attempting to mislead the public regarding the specifics of his ongoing legal matter. A supposedly true tale about his innocence being established by an appellate court, which was shared on X/Twitter last fall, was actually fabricated.

In an October federal lawsuit, it was claimed by Megan’s legal team that I, as a YouTuber and social media personality known as Milagro Gramz, was brought on board during Breezy Lanez’s incarceration to act as his public spokesperson and marionette.

In December, Megan’s lawyers stated in court documents that Daystar Peterson (also known as Lanez) collaborated with others to intimidate, harass, and provoke her. They also noted that a restraining order issued due to the shooting incident was no longer enforced following Lanez’s conviction.

In their efforts to clear his name by twisting facts and ignoring the truth, [Lanez] has made baseless claims that have sparked a wave of damaging, false, and slanderous remarks about Megan. According to her legal team.

In legal documents, Lanez’s attorneys countered by stating that Megan is not in agreement with the concept of free speech, and they suggest that her request for a restraining order may have been aimed at exploiting the judicial system as a means to wield power or exert control.

Lanez’s legal representatives stated, “Instead of refuting the comments or engaging in a discussion about the matters at hand… Megan has chosen to employ the current popular tactic of utilizing the legal system as a means to suppress opinions that she finds disagreeable.

In December 2022, Lanez was found guilty of three charges: using a semi-automatic weapon for assault, possessing an unregistered and loaded firearm inside a vehicle, and recklessly firing the weapon.

Back in August 2023, Lanez was given a 10-year prison term at the Los Angeles Superior Court, stemming from three felony charges linked to an event that occurred in the Hollywood Hills in July 2020.

During the sentencing, Judge David Herriford noted that the favorable images of Lanez presented by his family and friends during the trial seemed hard to align with his behavior towards Megan.

Occasionally, even good individuals may perform wrong actions, as Herriford stated to the court, based on AP’s reporting. Actions carry their own repercussions, and unfortunately, there are no victors in this scenario.

In the courtroom, I took the stand to share my account of the incident. According to me, Lanez fired shots at my feet and demanded I dance while I was exiting an SUV after a gathering at Kylie Jenner’s residence.

Initially keeping Lanez’s identity as the shooter private, Megan later revealed that she needed to have surgery to remove shrapnel from her feet due to bullet wounds.

In her statement, read by the prosecutor before sentencing, the singer expressed that since she was brutally wounded by the defendant, not a single day of tranquility has passed for her. She went on to say that, albeit gradually, she is healing and making progress, but she will forever be changed from this experience.

Before the judge announced his sentence, Lanez (who could have been imprisoned for up to 22 years) pleaded with the court for leniency, expressing remorse for the incident looking back on it now.

Speaking directly, let me express it this way: “Given the chance, I would rewind the sequence of events that fateful night and make different choices. My friend, who was the victim, is someone I hold dear even now. All the mistakes I made that night, I wholeheartedly accept responsibility for.

Lanez received credit for ten months of jail time because he had been in custody since his conviction in December 2022.

Jose Baez, Lanez’s lead lawyer, expressed his deep disappointment with the verdict, stating that it seemed more like a demonstration given Lanez’s fame. He emphasized, “He is not someone to set an example; he’s a human being.

Baez commented, “In my experience, I’ve encountered instances involving vehicular homicide and similar situations with fatalities. Yet, the defendants often receive sentences that are fewer than ten years.

The prosecutors commended Megan for her courage in reporting the incident with Lanez, even though she faced hostility and ridicule online.

LA County District Attorney George Gascón expressed his hope that Miss Pete’s courage might inspire those who feel powerless.

In an article for Elle, published in August 2023, Megan shared insights on essential lessons learned following Lanez’s court verdict.

She expressed, “If you’ve endured violence, remember that your emotions are legitimate. You are significant. You are not to blame. Your worth is undeniable. You are cherished. Your identity is not confined by your experiences.

She added, ‘Even if you find yourself in challenging circumstances, it doesn’t make you a flawed individual. Your worth isn’t determined by others’ views. So long as you maintain your principles and authenticity, no one can strip you of your strength.’

In response to the sentencing, Lanez expressed that he had no intention of offering an apology to the singer in a post he shared on his Instagram account.

This week, I owned up to every word and private instance I exchanged with those concerned, I declared publicly. In essence, that’s the truth.

He went on to say, “I wasn’t offering an apology for the accusations I’m falsely convicted of. I still maintain my position that I won’t apologize for something I didn’t do… difficult circumstances don’t endure, resilient individuals do.
