On a Thursday, a website named “36 Hours Later” was launched by the legal team representing the individual from Brampton, Canada. This site offers an in-depth examination of the first three days following the shooting incident that occurred on July 12, 2020.

The site includes clips of an eyewitness telling police officials that the gunshots aimed at Megan were not by Lanez, but rather a female shooter.

In a conversation with Daily Mail, Spiro shared that Lanez’s legal team recently contended the following: Kelsey Harris is alleged to have fired at Megan, while they also suggest that Megan merely stepped on broken glass.

Spiro additionally criticized Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who encouraged California Governor Gavin Newsom last Thursday, suggesting he grant Lanez a pardon due to his conviction being based on an inconsistent, inadequate narrative filled with contradictions, absent evidence, and outright falsehoods.

This new facility is the California Men’s Colony (CMC), which lies near San Luis Obispo, California, rather than the California Correctional Institution (CCI) where he originally was.

Crystal Morgan, the rapper’s legal representative, informed a media outlet that he wasn’t exactly thrilled with the change due to his ongoing recovery from the multiple injuries he suffered during the attack.

In response to Lanez’s recent assertion that he did not fire shots at her during the summer night in July 2020 – a time marked by extraordinary events such as the social upheaval following George Floyd’s death, the heated 2020 presidential election campaign, and the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis – the superstar singer made an unexpected declaration.

The assertion originated from the legal team, Unite the People, who are representing Lanez, stating that there’s already proof available to clear Lanez of the violent altercation, an allegation the Savage artist disputed on TikTok.

In January, Megan secured a civil restraining order from Judge Richard Bloom in Los Angeles, following her remote testimony that Lanez conducted a series of harassing actions towards her while he was imprisoned.

According to Judge Richard Bloom’s decision, Tory Lanez is prohibited from communicating with Megan in any manner whatsoever, whether directly or indirectly, over the next five years.

Megan expressed to the court her concern that Lanez might take revenge violently upon his release from detention.

Lawyers for Megan stated in court that Lanez has been attempting to mislead the public regarding the specifics of his ongoing legal matter. A supposedly true tale about his innocence being established by an appellate court, which was shared on X/Twitter last fall, was actually fabricated.

In an October federal lawsuit, it was claimed by Megan’s legal team that I, as a YouTuber and social media personality known as Milagro Gramz, was brought on board during Breezy Lanez’s incarceration to act as his public spokesperson and marionette.

In December, Megan’s lawyers stated in court documents that Daystar Peterson (also known as Lanez) collaborated with others to intimidate, harass, and provoke her. They also noted that a restraining order issued due to the shooting incident was no longer enforced following Lanez’s conviction.

During the sentencing, Judge David Herriford noted that the favorable images of Lanez presented by his family and friends during the trial seemed hard to align with his behavior towards Megan.

Occasionally, even good individuals may perform wrong actions, as Herriford stated to the court, based on AP’s reporting. Actions carry their own repercussions, and unfortunately, there are no victors in this scenario.

In her statement, read by the prosecutor before sentencing, the singer expressed that since she was brutally wounded by the defendant, not a single day of tranquility has passed for her. She went on to say that, albeit gradually, she is healing and making progress, but she will forever be changed from this experience.

Before the judge announced his sentence, Lanez (who could have been imprisoned for up to 22 years) pleaded with the court for leniency, expressing remorse for the incident looking back on it now.

Lanez received credit for ten months of jail time because he had been in custody since his conviction in December 2022.

Jose Baez, Lanez’s lead lawyer, expressed his deep disappointment with the verdict, stating that it seemed more like a demonstration given Lanez’s fame. He emphasized, “He is not someone to set an example; he’s a human being.

Baez commented, “In my experience, I’ve encountered instances involving vehicular homicide and similar situations with fatalities. Yet, the defendants often receive sentences that are fewer than ten years.

The prosecutors commended Megan for her courage in reporting the incident with Lanez, even though she faced hostility and ridicule online.

LA County District Attorney George Gascón expressed his hope that Miss Pete’s courage might inspire those who feel powerless.

She expressed, “If you’ve endured violence, remember that your emotions are legitimate. You are significant. You are not to blame. Your worth is undeniable. You are cherished. Your identity is not confined by your experiences.

In response to the sentencing, Lanez expressed that he had no intention of offering an apology to the singer in a post he shared on his Instagram account.
