As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be diving into the sci-fi strategy world of “Foundation: Galactic Frontier” this year on my iOS device! Pre-registration is now live and ready for me to join the queue. This game was initially unveiled at the Future Games Show 2024, and later had a soft launch in select regions back in September 2024. Can’t wait to explore this universe based on such a well-known IP!

Explore, trade, and survive in the Foundation universe in Foundation: Galactic Frontier

In case you’re not familiar, Foundation: Galactic Frontier is a science fiction strategy game inspired by the legendary Hugo Award-winning Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. The Chengdu studio of FunPlus and Skydance have teamed up to create it, and they’ve managed to incorporate an immersive RPG-style storyline that breathes life into Asimov’s universe.

In this game, you assume the role of a space trader commanding a fleet, engaging in interactions with multiple factions while occasionally joining forces with others to ward off cosmic dangers. Simultaneously, it’s your responsibility to maintain your ship cabins and ensure efficient operations for the production of vital resources.

Large scale battles, original ships, and pre-launch rewards

I was fortunate enough to try out the game during its beta testing phase, and I can’t wait for the official launch. I also hope it becomes available on Android devices worldwide as soon as possible. The opportunity to construct and lead my own unique spacecraft once more has me thrilled, especially since these ships were conceptualized by veterans from both the Star Wars and Fallout franchises.

During the beta test, I had a chance to play the game, and I’m really looking forward to its full release. I hope it goes global on Android devices soon. Being able to create and control my own spaceships again is exciting, especially since they were designed by veterans from Star Wars and Fallout series.

Based on its listing on the App Store, an official release date of October 21, 2025 has been announced. As of now, there’s no news regarding the global Android launch, but it is available in certain regions.
