I’m really excited to see Kingsglory, a FunPlus company, soft launch their new game, Aniimo! They’re testing it out in Thailand under the name “Star Continent.” I remember seeing it first at the Xbox Games Showcase back in June, and now it’s available for a technical test on iOS in the US – you can try it out until November 9th! It’s a next-gen ARPG where you catch creatures, and I can’t wait to see more.
Dive in as a Magical Beast collector and experience creature-catching fun with RPG gameplay
Kingsglory is currently testing a new game called Star Continent in Thailand. This follows an earlier test in the US. Star Continent is an action RPG where you collect and battle creatures, much like Pokémon, and it’s set in a vibrant world called Idyll.
You play as a Magical Beast Collector, traveling the land to find and befriend over a hundred unique creatures called Aniimo. You’ll help them grow stronger, discover their abilities, and develop battle strategies. Along the way, you’ll also uncover the secrets of this beautiful, mysterious world.
Players can experience the twining mechanic firsthand and enjoy exciting free rewards
Similar to the full game coming in 2026, this version features the Twining ability, which I think is really cool. It lets you actually become your beasts – like Emberpup or Nimbi – and see the world through their eyes, rather than just battling with them.
Star Continent looks really good so far! It has cute creatures, beautiful graphics, and a vibrant world, making for fun gameplay. As a bonus, you’ll get valuable rewards just for logging in, and if you play for seven days in a row, you can even get a free, powerful SSR creature and a strong partner to help you along the way.
Star Continent is now available to download on Android devices in Thailand through the Google Play Store! The game is planned for a worldwide release on various platforms in 2026, so keep an eye out for future updates.
