Funko releases new Star Wars Pop! figures of iconic moments – how to buy

Funko has released two new Star Wars Pop! figures of iconic moments from the films.

Enthusiasts of the initial trilogy will appreciate the fact that they can now assemble action figures portraying iconic moments from Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.

I’m absolutely thrilled about the POP! Deluxe R2-D2 and Princess Leia Hologram set! You can grab this Star Wars duo on the Funko website for just £30.

This 10cm tall vinyl figurine showcases a miniature recreation of the iconic moment from “A New Hope,” where R2-D2 projects a holographic message sent by Princess Leia.

As a Star Wars enthusiast, I can’t contain my excitement over the latest addition to my collection – a Funko Pop! version of Luke Skywalker during his lightsaber training! This instantly familiar scene is now within reach, ready to become a cherished part of my memorabilia.

Standing about 11.5 centimeters high, this item is available for purchase on the Funko site for roughly £13.

In other updates from the Star Wars universe, it was just announced that Daisy Ridley’s postponed movie titled New Jedi Order has brought on a new writer. The news is that George Nolfi, who previously worked on Ocean’s Twelve, will now be responsible for scripting the film.

Initially revealed in 2023, the forthcoming film, following on from The Rise of Skywalker by fifteen years, will feature Daisy Ridley returning as Rey Skywalker, guiding a fresh crop of Jedi apprentices.

Under the guidance of director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, it was originally Stephen Knight, the mastermind behind Peaky Blinders, who was set to write the script. However, he later departed from the project in the year 2024.

Earlier, Ridley had been hinting about the forthcoming journey of Rey, stating: “I’m really thrilled! The story is fantastic! I can’t wait to get my hands on a script because, as you might guess, there aren’t any other details yet. It’s not what I anticipated, but I’m definitely looking forward to it!

“So far, I know the story of one film, and I think people will be very excited,” she concluded.

The epic space saga, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” along with the entire Skywalker Saga, is now streaming on Disney+. You can also purchase physical copies on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K versions.
