Fully Naked Man Terrorizes Disneyland
A person got taken into custody at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, following an incident where he stripped off all his clothes, ran about naked, and recklessly scaled one of the park’s eateries, posing a potential risk to safety.
Visitors had to leave the New Orleans Square region of the park on Saturday evening (April 12), as an unknown individual stripped off his clothes and climbed up the roof of the Mint Julep Bar area in Tiana’s Palace restaurant.
The eatery, inaugurated in 2023 with a theme drawn from the 2009 animation “The Princess and the Frog”, has been momentarily shut down following the occurrence.
Based on SFGate’s report, Disneyland employees guided bewildered spectators aside when a man, who was naked, climbed atop the restaurant and performed gestures aimed at the audience below.
Here’s a link where you can find NSFW content from the surprising incident that was shared on Instagram. The clip shows one of the participants signaling and urging people to leave the vicinity with a sympathetic “Sorry, guys,” while in the background, a woman exclaims, “Oh my goodness!
The incident took place around 10 PM local time.
…”Police officers from Anaheim were summoned to lend aid to Disneyland’s security team, who had apprehended a man without clothing in the park, specifically in the vicinity of New Orleans Square,” said Matthew Sutter, a representative of the Anaheim Police Department, in a statement to SFGate.
The man was arrested for trespassing, public nudity, and being under the influence.
As reported by ABC 7 Eyewitness News, the individual who disrobed at Disneyland hailed from Canada.

It’s not the initial instance where someone, exposing themselves, has caused alarm among unaware visitors at “The Happiest Place on Earth.
2023 saw an individual visiting Disneyland being taken into custody following an unusual incident on the “It’s a Small World” attraction. This person decided to remove all of their clothes, leaving only their undergarments behind.
After that, the man walked or swam (depending on how deep the water was) across the area where boats usually sail, and subsequently ascended a platform. He eventually sat down in the center surrounded by a collection of automated dolls.
Amazing Theme Park Rides Based on Movies That Were Never Built
Indiana Jones and the Lost Expedition
As a movie enthusiast, I’ve always been captivated by the Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland, but what could have been even more thrilling is the abandoned plan that Imagineers had in store for us back in 1995. Instead of just one ride, they envisioned a grand pavilion known as The Lost Expedition, housing not one, but two exhilarating rides.
The first would have been a roller coaster reminiscent of the mine-car finale from ‘Temple of Doom’, promising an adrenaline-pumping experience that would rival any Indiana Jones adventure on the silver screen. The second ride, a dark one, would have taken us on a tour through Indy’s greatest hits, cruising around in jeeps for a firsthand taste of his thrilling escapades.
Remarkably, this expansive area intended for The Lost Expedition was later used to construct Splash Mountain, which I must admit, is an enjoyable ride as well, but I can’t help but wonder what it would have been like to embark on the untold Indiana Jones adventures that could have been.
Indiana Jones Ore Car Attraction
As a cinema enthusiast, I’d like to share some intriguing insights about an unrealized gem – the “Ore Car Simulator” that was intended for the Lost Expedition theme park complex. Despite the Indiana Jones land never materializing, Disney still boasts an Indiana Jones-themed mine-train roller coaster: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, nestled at Disneyland Paris. It was the pioneering looping coaster at any Disney park. As a teenager, I had the chance to ride it once, but unfortunately, mid-ride, it got stuck – an experience I’d rather forget!
Indiana Jones Jungle Cruise
The “River Idol” sculpture was intended to be a focal point in the revamped Jungle Cruise, designed to fit seamlessly into a whole land dedicated to Indiana Jones-themed adventures. Indeed, it appears as if it’s straight out of an Indiana Jones film set.
The Hauntington Hotel
Prior to the prevalence of interactive shooting attractions such as Toy Story Midway Mania and Men in Black Alien Attack in Orlando, Six Flags had conceived a Ghostbusters ride called Hauntington Hotel. This proposed ride would have allowed visitors to explore a haunted building, utilizing car-mounted proton packs to hit targets. As shared by the ride’s designer in an interview on 2600connection.com, the entire project – from creation to design, engineering, and prototyping – was complete and prepared for installation in Texas. However, following a change in ownership of Six Flags’ theme park division, the project unfortunately collapsed, a potentially devastating turn of events.
Nostromo
For about eight years, the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland was home to an attraction named ExtraTERRORestrial: Alien Encounter. Riders were literally strapped down to their seats while a menacing E.T. “materialized” in the center of the room, and then proceeded to touch and breathe on them while the lights were out. When Alien Encounter opened it starred a creepy alien; when it was conceived it starred *the* creepy alien — as in H.R. Giger’s iconic xenomorph from Ridley Scott’s classic 1979 film. Astonishingly, someone at Disney thought it was a good idea to insert a little acid-blooded horror into the Happiest Place on Earth. Eventually, Disney came to their senses and abandoned the ‘Alien’ aspect (and the original name for the attraction, Nostromo, after the ship in the film), but not the overall concept. After terrifying children for almost a decade (I was one of them; this thing was pure nightmare fuel), Alien Encounter finally closed in 2003. The site now houses a toned-down version starring Stitch from ‘Lilo & Stich.’
The James Bond Live-Action Stunt Show
The initial plans for Universal Studios Florida featured an awe-inspiring design by ‘Star Wars’ artist Ralph McQuarrie for a stunt show themed around James Bond. This show, influenced greatly by longtime Bond production designer Ken Adam, would have been marked by the iconic “Giant Circular Roof” that would open, revealing screens filled with Bond’s most notorious foes. These villains, such as Jaws and Goldfinger, would watch as 007 faced his demise and the launch of a nuclear warhead. However, this project never took flight, but over the years, Universal Studios has hosted stunt shows based on ‘Conan the Barbarian,’ ‘The A-Team,’ ‘Miami Vice,’ ‘Spider-Man,’ and ‘Waterworld.’
Mel Brooks’ Hollywood Horror Hotel
Initially, the Tower of Terror wasn’t based on ‘The Twilight Zone,’ but instead was planned as a joint venture between Disney and Mel Brooks. However, later on, Brooks decided to step away from the project, and ‘The Twilight Zone’ elements were incorporated. Previously, ideas for this attraction, often referred to as “Hotel Mel,” included a combination of a ride and a functioning hotel within the same structure, along with a murder mystery that could be solved using clues hidden throughout the grounds. As StudioCentral.com reports, it was around the time when Imagineers came up with the concept of adding haunted elevators that leap out of their shafts that Brooks lost interest and moved on to make ‘Life Stinks.’ The Tower of Terror is a fantastic ride, but learning about the possibility of an entire Mel Brooks hotel does make one think that life can indeed be disappointing.
Batman Island
Back in the ’90s, when Tim Burton’s Batman films reigned supreme, I was eagerly awaiting my visit to Universal Studios’ Islands of Adventure. To my delight, the park originally intended to dedicate an entire zone to the Dark Knight himself! This section would have been a paradise for Batman fans, offering a thrilling Batmobile ride, an exhilarating Bat-jet attraction, and even a live action stunt show starring none other than Batman, Robin, and Superman! However, as plans often evolve, the baton was eventually passed to Marvel characters like Spider-Man and the Hulk.
Batwing: Batman vs the Penguin
On Batman Island, potential features might have been a suspended roller coaster offering two unique experiences – the Batman or Penguin tracks. Each track would offer distinct rides with special effects, pyrotechnics, and immersive experiences. In the lower left corner of the image, you can see Shreck’s Department Store, a nod to Christopher Walken’s character in ‘Batman Returns.’ Regrettably, this ride was never built, but Islands of Adventure adapted the concept of “dueling” coasters in its Dueling Dragons ride (renamed Dragon Challenge and part of its Harry Potter land).
Dick Tracy’s Crime-Stoppers
1990 saw the release of Warren Beatty’s ‘Dick Tracy’, and Disney had high expectations for its success. They intended to leverage this with a theme park attraction, where visitors could embark on a thrilling chase through Chicago (or dark ride sets) alongside the famous detective. Each ride vehicle would have been fitted with tommy guns for interactive target shooting experiences throughout the journey. However, as ‘Dick Tracy’ didn’t develop into a lasting franchise, the project was abandoned. The design of these vehicles resembles those found in Indiana Jones Adventure, while the shooting gallery concept continues to thrive in Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Ride
Visitors to this ride would have climbed aboard eerie, flying caskets reminiscent of the 1993 stop-motion Christmas movie, mimicking the experience of Peter Pan’s Flight, albeit with a darker, Tim Burton-esque twist. However, Disney and Tim Burton had different opinions on this concept, with Burton ultimately vetoing the idea. As an alternative, every year Disney reimagines the Haunted Mansion in California as the “Haunted Mansion Holiday,” incorporating characters from the movie during the festive season.
Godzilla Bullet Train
Since as early as the 1970s, there were preliminary ideas to incorporate a simulated bullet train ride into the Japan Pavilion at Epcot. Instead of just observing a peaceful journey through Japan, guests would have been on a ride vehicle and seen screens depicting a trip across the countryside. However, a more intriguing take on this concept involved Godzilla, who would emerge from the sea and attack the train as it navigated Tokyo Harbor. Apparently, discussions with Toho, the studio that owns Godzilla, went no further, as they deemed a colossal, destructive monster like Godzilla didn’t fit with Epcot’s tranquil, naturalistic ambiance. Too bad.
The Great Muppet Movie Ride
For over two decades, The Muppets have been a significant part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, showcasing their MuppetVision 3D movie. Initially, plans were made for the Muppets to play a more prominent role in the park, with a mockery of the Great Movie Ride called The Great Muppet Movie Ride. In this attraction, Jim Henson’s cherished characters would have enacted various scenes from popular films. However, during the corporate merger between Disney and Henson, a deal was almost finalized, but it failed after Henson’s demise in 1990, putting an end to The Great Muppet Movie Ride. Nevertheless, Disney eventually acquired the Muppets in 2004, so perhaps their most remarkable theme-park attraction is still waiting to be realized.
Jurassic Park Jeep Safari
In my film critic’s perspective, the Jurassic Park land at Universal’s Islands of Adventure offers a thrilling River Adventure ride, a log flume experience that, while featuring animatronic dinosaurs, deviates quite significantly from the spirit of the Jurassic Park films. Initially, the plan was to incorporate multiple Jurassic Park attractions, such as a Jeep Safari ride, which would have immersed visitors into the very heart of the movie’s storyline, taking them on an exciting journey through the park where they could dodge brontosaurus, outrun T-Rex, and engage in confrontations with raptors. Regrettably, this concept was deemed too similar to the River Adventure ride, making it impossible for both to coexist, as per DisneyAndMore.Blogspot.com.
Jurassic Park Jeep Safari
Take a look at this detailed shot of the Jurassic Park Jeep Safari vehicle, it has a very nostalgic feel reminiscent of the iconic 8-seater DeLoreans from ‘Back to the Future’ rides.
Baby Herman’s Runaway Buggy Ride
Despite only one theme-park ride (“Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin” in Disneyland) being developed from “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”, Disney had initially planned for multiple rides based on this popular film. One proposed attraction, “Baby Herman’s Runaway Buggy Ride”, would have allowed guests to take on the role of Baby Herman’s stunt double in a perilous scene. The ride vehicles were designed to resemble baby carriages, and guests would have been asked to wear baby bonnets throughout the experience to enhance the illusion and encourage purchases of adorable photos taken during the journey. Regrettably, disputes between Disney and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment regarding control over Roger Rabbit thwarted the realization of this ride concept. Similarly, construction of other planned attractions was also halted due to these conflicts.
Toontown Trolley
Similar to the Baby Herman ride, disputes regarding the character of Roger Rabbit led to abandoning proposals for a simulator ride modeled after Star Tours, which would have guided guests through Toontown, the cartoon residence from ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit.’ Initially, these rides were intended to be included in a completely new section of Disneyland called Hollywoodland. However, this area was later redesigned as Mickey’s Toontown, with Roger unfortunately being left out.
Toontown Trolley
Check out this alternative design inspired by the Roger Rabbit trolley ride! It’s quite psychedelic, don’t you think? I bet children, particularly those with a sugar rush, would find it fascinating.
