Frozen 3 lands official release date

As a seasoned gamer and Disney enthusiast who grew up with the original Frozen soundtrack on repeat, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Frozen 3! With a three-year wait ahead of us, it’s safe to say that my anticipation levels are reaching Elsa’s ice powers. The fact that they’ve already started work on a fourth film is mind-blowing – I guess we can expect a never-ending winter from Arendelle!

Frozen 3 has finally confirmed its release date.

At D23 it was announced that the animated threequel will hit cinemas on November 24, 2027.

The movie was anticipated to release towards the end of 2027, after writer Jennifer Lee unveiled its initial concept art earlier in the week.

Apart from confirming the release date for “Frozen 3,” Disney has additionally unveiled plans to debut the film “Hoppers,” starring Jon Hamm, on March 6, 2026.

As a gaming enthusiast eagerly waiting for Frozen 3, which is set to hit screens in another three years, it’s mind-blowing to learn that they’re already working on a fourth movie!

According to Disney’s CEO Bob Iger, he confirmed on Good Morning America that not only is Frozen 3 under development, but there could potentially be a Frozen 4 as well.

As a film enthusiast with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must admit that my initial impressions about those films were not particularly impressive. However, having followed Jennifer Lee’s career closely, I am genuinely excited to see what she and her team at Disney animation have in store for us. Given the success of Frozen, I have high hopes for these two new stories, especially since they are being developed by the same creative mind behind the original films.

Details about the storyline for “Frozen 3” have been tightly guarded, but even though Lee won’t be coming back as director, he shared some thrilling news last year.

She shared, “Last week, they provided some time for me to collaborate with the creative group on it, and I am absolutely amazed by this opportunity! I’m thrilled about it, but I’m still unsure about my specific role in the project. I may end up not contributing much.”

“You can stream Frozen and Frozen 2 on Disney+, and there’s even talk of a third movie! Tickets for the West End musical, running until September 2024, are now up for grabs.”
