From the castle to the red carpet! The Traitors stars mingle with the A-list at the Crime 101 premiere – but winner Rachel Duffy misses out after revealing her mother’s tragic death

The cast of the popular BBC show The Traitors traded their castle setting for a glamorous night out at the premiere of Crime 101, where they met some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Following the exciting conclusion of the show on Friday, stars Stephen Libby, Jade Scott, and Faraaz Noor were among those attending the premiere at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London.

Stars dressed to impress on the red carpet at the event, which was also attended by Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, and Mark Ruffalo, the film’s leading actors.

It was a difficult week for “The Traitors” winner Rachel Duffy, who announced the passing of her mother just days after her victory aired. She shared the sad news on Tuesday.

Stephen, the winner, made a stylish entrance at the premiere wearing a vibrant green suit reminiscent of the 1970s.

Jessie Roux looked stunning in a vibrant orange dress with a high slit when she met up with Ross Garshong and Ellie Buckley.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Ross and Ellie – remember them, the ones who were secretly together on the show?! – they finally had a proper date night at the premiere! Ellie looked absolutely stunning, by the way, in this amazing black dress with silver beading. I seriously can’t get over how good they looked together. It was like they were finally able to just be with each other, and it was everything!

Jade looked radiant in a shimmering, light blue sequin dress paired with a fluffy faux fur jacket.

Finalist Faraaz Noor opted to bring co-star Roxy Wilson as his date for the night.

Oh my gosh, Roxy looked absolutely incredible! I was already so thrilled for her, and then she announced she’s pregnant! Seeing her on screen, glowing in this gorgeous dark green dress, just made my heart melt. She seriously radiates happiness, and it was so beautiful to witness!

Rachel achieved a historic win on Friday’s episode of The Traitors, becoming the first woman to win the BBC show. She and Stephen Libby made history as the first double-traitor winning team.

During the show, the mother of three explained that the prize money would help her create special memories with her mother, Anne, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at 47 and more recently with dementia.

Just days after competing in the final on Friday, Rachel sadly announced that her mother had passed away on Tuesday.

Although filming finished months ago, Rachel and Stephen haven’t received their winnings of £95,750. Sadly, this means Rachel hasn’t been able to fulfill her dream of taking her 70-year-old mother, Anne, on a special holiday.

I’ve been following the show closely, and it’s amazing to see the contestants win such great prizes! Even though they each won £47,000, it turns out they don’t actually get the money right away. Stephen mentioned on Monday that his winnings still hadn’t been deposited into his account, which is a bit frustrating to hear after all that effort!

Rachel had previously said she wanted to use her winnings to take her mother and children on a memorable family vacation while they still had the chance. Sadly, her mother’s health has gotten worse since she was on the show.

She announced her mother’s death on Instagram Tuesday, writing: ‘We’re deeply saddened to share that our wonderful mother has passed away. We appreciate your understanding and privacy as we mourn.’

As a lifestyle expert, I recently chatted with Rachel after the show’s finale, and she shared that she hadn’t even touched her prize money yet! She’s taking the smart approach, wanting to sit down with her mom and husband to make a plan for how to best use it. It’s lovely to see her prioritizing family and thoughtful spending.

She said she planned to gather with her kids, husband, and mother to brainstorm fun activities they could all enjoy together.

Rachel shared an update about her mother, explaining that her condition has worsened since the show was filmed in May. Because of this, her mother isn’t well enough to travel much right now.

I’m hoping to spend some quality time with my mother and find out what she wants to do. I’m really looking forward to simply asking her what would make her happy and then doing it with her. I have no idea what she’ll suggest, but I’m excited to find out!

I just learned that Rachel was over in London last week! She was there with her castmates to wrap up filming for the final episode, and she also shot her interview for the ‘Uncloaked’ series. It sounds like a busy but exciting trip for her!

She was eager to call her mom and have a real conversation after finishing her interviews on Saturday morning.

I’m about to call and really talk to her, but she’s very proud, and it’s wonderful to hear your mother is proud of you too, she said.

Rachel shared that she was touched by the positive response to her discussion about her mother’s illness on the show. She explained that many people reached out on social media, sharing their own stories and thanking her for bringing attention to the issue.

It felt wonderful to learn that so many people connected with my story, especially those who care for loved ones.

Last March, Rachel posted a birthday message for her mother on Instagram after a large celebration marking her 70th birthday with loved ones.

Sharing a collection of snaps she penned: ‘There’s a whole lot of love in these photos.

As a lifestyle expert, I always say it’s the people in your life that truly matter, and I’m so grateful to have Queen Mullen in mine. I’m sending her the warmest belated wishes for her 70th birthday – she’s a truly special woman!

I was so touched when Rachel opened up to us at the dinner party with the final eight. She shared a really personal story about her mother, and it felt like a special moment getting to hear that side of her.

Fighting back tears, she started to explain that she wanted to do something special for her mother, who had been sick for a long time.

She received a Parkinson’s diagnosis at just 47 years old, and throughout my adult life, I’ve seen her consistently prioritize others and put her own life aside.

‘And she was diagnosed with dementia recently and all she wants to do is go on a holiday.’

She explained that if she won, she’d love to take her mother and children on vacation and create lasting memories while her mother is still able to enjoy them.

Life is incredibly valuable, and I want my mum to enjoy it to the fullest. She sacrificed so much for us, and now it’s our turn to care for her and make sure she’s happy.

A touching photo from the show revealed Anne holding a T-shirt that boldly stated, ‘My daughter’s a traitor.’

Stephen and Rachel won the first season of The Traitors, even though many viewers believed Rachel would betray Stephen to win all the money for herself.

From the start, Stephen and Jack were loyal to each other. Even though Stephen knew Jack might vote Rachel out, he stayed true to their agreement. They had promised each other, back when they first met the other houseguests, not to betray each other, and they ultimately honored that promise by sharing the prize money.
