From Love Island to the Ally Pally: Reality star Lacey Edwards makes a surprising appearance as a dancer at the World Darts Championship

Lacey Edwards, who previously appeared on Love Island, unexpectedly showed up at this season’s Ally Pally events.

Following a disappointing experience looking for love on a dating show in 2022, the TV personality is now pursuing her love of dance as a full-time job.

Lacey started cheering at the World Darts Championship in November 2024, and has been delighting both fans and players with her energetic performances ever since.

Lacey, age 29, appeared on the eighth season of the ITV show with Gemma Owen, Luca Bish, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, and Tasha Ghouri.

This Instagram influencer has nearly 38,000 followers and keeps busy with several jobs. She teaches Pilates and flexibility training, and also performs as a dancer during darts events.

She’s one of the official dancers for the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), and she’s performed at major venues like Alexandra Palace, the O2 Arena, and in Brighton.

Throughout the Christmas season, eight talented dancers were chosen from a group of 200 applicants to perform a diverse range of dances and routines on stage.

The show features a diverse group of dancers, ranging from established performers to exciting new talent – including a popular TikTok creator, a fire performer, and a recent dance school graduate.

Lacey is one of four new players competing in the 2024 World Darts Championship, and this will be her second year participating.

She loves to travel and frequently posts about her trips to places like the Maldives, Morocco, and Mallorca.

Instead of traveling internationally this season, she’s trading her passport for pom-poms and focusing on competing in the biggest darts tournament of the year.

She often posts photos of her luxurious vacations, everyday activities, and moments with her boyfriend, James.

Lacey arrived at the villa on day 45 and quickly started getting to know Deji Adeniyi.

But after a short four days, Lacey and Deji were booted out following the dreaded Casa Amor.  

At the time of her departure, Lacey said: ‘I really, really enjoyed my time in the villa.

It was a brief but enjoyable experience! I had a lot of fun arriving as a new contestant and was eager to see if I could make a connection with anyone.

There were many strong connections formed on the show, but I’m happy Deji was attracted to me, and I was able to make a connection with him too.
