However, Abi Titmuss’ current lifestyle significantly contrasts with the one she led when she initially gained notoriety as a television figure and British tabloid model.

Originating from Lincolnshire, this 49-year-old currently resides in Los Angeles, leading a life as a happily married woman and a proud parent of one child.

Abi has largely retreated from public view in recent years in favour of living a quiet family life.

After her high-profile relationship with fallen television host, John Leslie, Abi gained popularity among men’s magazines.

At a time when her popularity was skyrocketing, she notably placed seventh on FHM’s 2005 list of the 100 Most Sexy Women globally.

Abi and John started dating after they met in a bar in Fulham on April 10, 1999.

In 2003, while she was his girlfriend, he faced charges for sexually assaulting another woman. However, these charges were later dismissed.

Following their appearance together outside the courthouse, Abi subsequently gained attention by gracing the covers of numerous men’s publications such as Nuts, Loaded, and FHM.

In a conversation with Femail in 2012, she expressed that she didn’t feel deserving of the attention, and as her earnings increased, her feelings worsened.

‘Though I was offered £30,000 for a photo shoot, I knew deep down that my abilities were mediocre at best. It felt like I was carrying around my lack of notable skill with me.’

Later on, she confided to the media outlet that she found herself receiving substantial sums for photoshoots. She believed she could manage it, but ultimately, she found she couldn’t.

Following a split roughly in the year 2004, Abi embarked on a career path that led her to work as a traveling journalist for Richard and Judy. Later, she made appearances in various reality TV shows such as Hell’s Kitchen, Celebrity Love Island, and Come Dine With Me.

Afterward, Abi chose to pursue a career in acting and enrolled in classes at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

For a brief period, Abi found herself drawn into the world of theater and was honored with the Fringe Report Award for Best West End Debut in the production Two Way Mirror. Subsequently, she took on the role of Lady Macbeth in Lowestoft.

Following roles in Hotel Babylon and Casualty in 2012, she moved to America, adopted the name Abigail Evelyn, and secured the part of Nurse Jackie in the popular daytime series Days of Our Lives in 2015.

That’s where she encountered her spouse, Ari Welkom, aged 41, a renowned American rock star and actor. He gained fame in 2005 after his performance in the movie Brick, sharing the screen with Joseph-Gordon Levitt.

She mentioned that it was Ari, the actor portraying Aldo in the soap, whose open-mindedness about her past, which involved a more provocative profession, initially drew her in.

At approximately this period, Abi confessed that the glaring spotlights of celebrity had plunged her into a suicidal depression, which required numerous therapy sessions and a relocation to the opposite side of the Atlantic to overcome.

Back in 2015, Abi shared with Mail Online about contemplating suicide: “Indeed, there were numerous instances. Over the years, I had to undergo therapy to cope with my depression. It was a harrowing ordeal. I believe the feelings will always linger with me.

In May 2017, Abi and Ari got married, and it wasn’t until January 2018 that news outlets discovered she was expecting. This revelation came when they were seen exiting the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles.

After saying their wedding vows, the radiant bride admitted to Hello! magazine that she knew about the baby being present on their special day.

She shared with the press: “During our wedding, I knew all along that there were actually three of us sharing the experience, not just the two of us.

It’s wonderful to consider that the newborn might have heard our wedding vows, as they can now perceive sounds.

‘When the harpist started to play, I could feel him or her moving around.’

After Abi, known for past relationships with David Walliams, footballer Lee Sharpe, and actor Marc Warren, announced she was ready to become a mother, news about her engagement followed.

A specific date isn’t available for when Abi had her baby boy, yet, in January 2018, she was spotted in public with him for the very first time.

Abi apears to have given up acting with her last credit on IMDB being from 2019.

She has also gone quiet on social media, with her last Instagram post from 2021. 

In April 2025, Abi was last spotted enjoying a leisurely walk with her husband and child in Los Angeles during the afternoon.
