Fright-Rags is selling a The Last Drive-In: Nightmareathon Survival Kit, and it looks awesome!

As a seasoned horror enthusiast and a dedicated follower of Joe Bob Briggs since his MonsterVision days, I can confidently say that the announcement of The Last Drive-In: Nightmareathon marathon has sent chills down my spine, not just from anticipation but also from the thought of the sheer number of horror movies I’ll be subjecting myself to!

The first episode of “The Last Drive-In by Joe Bob Briggs,” a series on Shudder, kicked off with a 24-hour horror movie marathon back in July 2018. This event served as a farewell to fans who had long supported Joe Bob Briggs during his tenure on “Joe Bob’s Drive-In Theater” and “MonsterVision” (both of which ended in 2000). The marathon turned out to be a massive hit, with Shudder’s servers struggling to handle the surge of viewers eager to watch. This overwhelming response demonstrated that Joe Bob Briggs was highly sought-after by Shudder’s audience.

Realizing a gem when it appeared before them, Shudder decided to invite Joe Bob, Darcy the Mail Girl, Yuki, and the rest of their team from TLDI, back for a series and multiple specials. As the sixth season of The Last Drive-In draws to a close, they’ve announced that there will be another marathon event soon.

Title for the last episode of season six is “The Last Drive-In: Nightmareathon, a tribute spanning six years and featuring six enigmatic films. Running from twilight until dawn, it’s not a full 24-hour marathon, but fans are eagerly anticipating the experience.

As an enthusiastic fan, I’m thrilled to share that I’m part of the festivities with the Nightmareaton Survival Kit from Fright-Rags! This kit is packed with some fantastic gear inspired by The Last Drive-In (TLDI). Inside, you’ll find a snuggly TLDI throw, two exclusive popcorn buckets for those movie nights, and even a bag of Joe Bob’s Mutant Mud coffee to keep the fun going!
