Friendly Exes! Russell Crowe and his ex-wife Danielle Spencer perform together in Sydney

Oh my gosh, you guys, I was there! Russell Crowe and his ex-wife were together at a concert at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Sunday, and they seemed totally friendly! It was so amazing to see them supporting each other – honestly, it warmed my heart! I’m still buzzing about it!

The 56-year-old actress made a special appearance in a one-time show featuring Russell’s band, Indoor Garden Party.

Danielle captivated the audience while performing her new single, ‘Regenerate,’ wearing a stylish black, long-sleeved top and pants.

She styled her blonde curls with silver and diamanté pins. 

For a touch of added drama, the pop singer wore a mask of stars and sparkles under her eyes.

Danielle delivered a dynamic performance, accompanied by backup dancers in sleek black costumes 

Later, Russell, 61, hit the stage as frontman for his group .

The Academy Award-winning actor, sporting neatly combed grey hair, chose a dark suit and a satin shirt for the event.

Throughout the performance, which blended gospel and rock music, the actor known for ‘Beautiful Mind’ played guitar and sang lead vocals.

The event’s performers included American singer Brake, Australian country music star Troy Cassar-Daley, the renowned Marcia Hines, and Irish artist Lorraine O’Reill.

This follows Danielle’s recent discussion of the guilt she experienced after her 2018 divorce from Russell Crowe.

Earlier this month, the actress and musician discussed her breakup with the famous star after 15 years together, during an appearance on the Stellar podcast, ‘Something To Talk About’.

It’s incredibly difficult to end a relationship with someone you’ve shared so much history with, especially when children are involved,” the 56-year-old told podcast host Sarrah Le Marquand.

Okay, so look, I was the one who… well, I basically shook things up with my family, and honestly, it felt so heavy. It was like I was the one steering this whole thing, and I wrestled with this awful guilt, knowing I was potentially tearing everyone apart. But I truly believed it had to be done, and I wouldn’t have pushed for it if I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary. It was a really tough call, and I still think about it all the time.

Danielle shared that she and Russell have become good friends as they raise their sons, Charlie, 22, and Tennyson, 19, together. However, she admitted that getting to this point after their divorce wasn’t easy.

In September, the pair announced they would be reuniting for Saturday’s show.

They initially connected through their shared love of music, and they used to perform together when their children were small.

For Danielle, performing this music again has brought back a lot of feelings and fond memories.
