Fresh blow for ex-radio star Marty Sheargold after his infamous sexist outburst about the Matildas got him sacked

In the aftermath of the Matildas losing 2-1 to the USA in the SheBelieves Cup, the comedian and actor appeared on The Marty Sheargold Show to share his thoughts.

During the broadcast, fellow co-host Troy Ellis broached the subject, and Sheargold shared his thoughts on the national team.

In a statement, Sheargold announced his departure from the radio network, also expressing regret for the sexist comments he made regarding the Matildas.
