As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for culture and fashion, I must say that the inclusion of Brigitte Macron in Emily in Paris is not only a brilliant move but also a testament to the show’s ability to seamlessly weave real-life figures into its fictional narrative. The way they have incorporated her character into the storyline, making it feel organic and intriguing, shows a depth of understanding that goes beyond mere entertainment.

It’s displayed a wide range of French culture, from the chic fashions and charming cafés to delicate pastries and attractive male figures.

In the upcoming episodes of Emily in Paris, airing this Thursday, Emily finds herself diving into political matters as Madame Brigitte Macron, the French First Lady, will be making an appearance.

In this scenario, you’re taking a selfie with Lily Collins (age 35), known for portraying Emily in the popular Netflix series, and Thalia Besson (age 23), who is married to Emmanuel Macron (age 46). The image shows all three of them grinning broadly.

The 71-year-old character is seen donning her personal attire, as there are no specific fashion directives provided for her by the acclaimed series renowned for its style.

Previously, the teacher chose a stylish, double-breasted black jacket with golden buttons, and complemented it by carrying a £4,200 Dior handbag modeled as Lady D-Joy along with her skirt suit.

While Ms. Collins donned an iconic Yves Saint Laurent 1976 wool cape, accessorized with Tod’s Kate loafers (£780), a Delvaux Brillant Mini Teddy bag, paired with a Marni mini skirt (£550) and completed the ensemble with a Maison Michel wool dogtooth billy beret (£495).

Since their meeting at the Élysée Palace in 2022, a cameo opportunity has been in the works for both Ms. Collins and the show’s creator, Darren Star.

Ms. Collins stated that she’s a dedicated fan of the series, and found it amusing when her name came up during Season 1. In Season 4, there’s a nod to her, and working with her was not only prestigious but also incredibly enjoyable.

In the first season, viewers watched as Emily’s career soared after Brigitte reposted her social media content.

In this installment, we find the marketing chief grappling with company culture as she spearheads a project for the firm Vaga-Jeune, crafting their latest promotional campaign.

After finding out that the French term for vagina, “le vagin,” is grammatically male, Emily expresses her displeasure on social media. Eventually, this post gets re-shared by the First Lady.

The Italian-French vocalist, Carla Bruni, transmitted a meme to Brigitte, who subsequently uploaded it onto her personal account. However, what the audience sees is merely the backside of Brigitte’s head in the post.

Later, the attention directed towards Emily’s office caused quite a commotion, ultimately bolstering her standing within the workplace.

I’ve been absolutely thrilled that Emily in Paris came back on our screens last month, ending a two-year wait! Since August 15, the initial five episodes have kept me glued to my seat, and I can hardly wait for more!

Fans have been anticipating the second part for nearly a full month, as it’s set to be released on Netflix on September 11th.

Oh my goodness, I was absolutely hooked by the intricate web of storylines in the newest season! The way Camille dropped that bombshell about her pregnancy really took me aback. As for Emily’s love life, it was a tangled mess between her chef neighbor Gabriel and the dashing Brit Alfie – pure drama!

Ultimately, Emily decides on her path, opting to nurture her relationship with Gabriel. By the mid-season finale, they both express their affection for each other while embarking on their romantic journey.

Meanwhile, in a new development for the neighbors, Camille, who’s expecting, and Sophia, originating from Athens and played by Melia Kreiling, settle into a house adjacent to Gabriel’s. However, despite efforts to make things work, they eventually decide to part ways.

In utter disbelief, I found myself on the edge of my seat during the climactic finale. My beloved character, Camille, had ventured to her gynecologist for what seemed like a routine check-up. Little did we know that this visit would unravel a mind-blowing twist – a false positive test result. The tension had been building over her late period, but it turned out that the stress had been the real culprit, not an unexpected situation as we’d all feared.

In just under a day, Netflix viewers will find out how character Gabriel reacts to the news, and whether his relationship with Emily is genuine and lasting.
