In the world of Overwatch, Freja is originally from Denmark. Previously, she was an exceptional figure in search and rescue missions. After Overwatch disbanded, she shifted her skills towards bounty hunting.

Regarding Freja’s skills, it’s clear she possesses the knack for employing her “explosive crossbow.” Players should anticipate precision and a steady hand being key factors. Her Revdraw Crossbow discharges rapid bolts, Take Aim fires a swift explosive bolt, while Quick Dash reloads the explosive ammo. Updraft propels Fryja skyward. Lastly, Bola Shot entangles enemies and draws in their allies.

Overwatch 2 Freja release date

In line with Blizzard’s announcement, Freja is set to become an official member of the Overwatch 2 team during Season 16. But before that, players can try her out for free during a special weekend event in Season 15.

At the Overwatch 2 Spotlight event, senior narrative designer Jude Stacey provided a glimpse into hero 44’s character for Season 18. They referred to him as “Aqua” in code.

At the Overwatch 2 showcase, the senior narrative designer, Jude Stacey, shared some details about the new character for Season 18, who goes by the codename “Aqua.

Stacey mentioned, “You might be curious to find out who the Season 18 hero is,” she said. “Let me share a little preview with you – we’ve named him Hero 44, codenamed Aqua. This Chinese water-wielder boasts an incredibly unique set of abilities that our team has ever created. You can expect more details about him in the latter part of this year.
