Freeform unveils this year's 31 Nights of Halloween, including new premieres and cult classics

As a self-proclaimed Halloween aficionado and movie buff, I must say that this lineup is nothing short of a dream come true! Growing up, I was always the kid who couldn’t wait for October to roll around so I could immerse myself in all things spooky and supernatural.

As autumn approaches, broadcasting platforms and streaming services unveil their fall and Halloween lineups, which includes the annual 31-day Halloween TV special hosted by Freeform.

Similar to past seasons, Freeform will kick off a month-long spree of excitement and suspense starting October 1st at 1 p.m. EDT/PDT, airing the beloved Disney film “Halloweentown“. From that moment on, you can tune into Freeform anytime during the day or night for the following 31 days and enjoy a variety of scary (often suitable for families) programming.

2021 will bring back popular titles from Tim Burton’s collection, such as “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, “Beetlejuice”, “Frankenweenie”, and others, along with beloved witch-themed films like “Hocus Pocus” and the worldwide debut of “Hocus Pocus 2” on October 6.

Good news for those who didn’t catch it last year! The new “Haunted Mansion” movie will make its global TV debut on October 5. Enjoy watching!

In the typical fashion, Freeform is set to debut some fresh premieres including “Arachnophobia”, “Something Wicked This Way Comes”, “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad”, and “Muppets From Space”. These spooktacular shows will make their first appearance during a month-long fright fest on the channel.

Additionally, you can stream all episodes from the first season of the popular Disney+ show “Goosebumps”, as it’s been renewed for another season, but the release date for that is still to be determined.

Every October, I can’t wait for Freeform’s “31 Nights of Halloween” to roll around. Last year alone, it drew in an impressive 24 million viewers, making the cable network a top contender in crucial demographics, ranking among the Top 5 overall!
