Starting in April 2026, Free Fire will host new esports competitions. Following the launch of qualifying rounds for the Free Fire World Series (FFWS), the USA 2026 Spring tournament is scheduled to begin. Teams will compete for prize money and the chance to earn valuable spots in future events. The online tournament is organized by Garena.
Free Fire World Series USA 2026 Spring: Schedule and Format
The event will take place entirely in April 2026, starting with the Group Stage on April 4th. A total of 24 teams will compete, with six qualifying from the FFUSC 2025 Winter tournament and the remaining teams earning their spots through an open in-game qualifier.
The teams will be split into four groups of six, playing a total of 24 games over four rounds. Each team will play every other team in their group, resulting in 12 matches per team. The best 18 teams overall will then move on to the knockout rounds.
The knockout stage is set to begin between April 17th and 18th, 2026. The teams still in contention will be split into three groups of six, and will play a total of 12 matches over two rounds. Each team will play every other team in their group, and the top 12 teams overall will move on to the championship finals.
The championship match is scheduled for April 19th, 2026, and will use a format where teams compete to earn the most points. The team with the highest score at the end will be crowned the winner.
